I find that the neutron cannon deals higher damage per shot when you slot the cannon itself into one of the supercharged slots and the p-field in a regular slot, even though the listed damage potential is lower. This is because the listed damage potential is only theoretical, while in practice, it is more practical to kill enemies with fewer shots. By the same logic, it's more important to include maximized +15% damage modules than +50% charge time or +12% sphere speed. The formula for damage listed is mathematically calculated based off of perfect timing for charged shots and perfect accuracy... but in practice, it charges near instantly, and you'll only release the trigger when you have the enemy in your sights, so maximized damage per shot is far more important than theoretical DPS. Though it is nice to see crazy high numbers listed under Damage Potential...
I didn't get 170k but with 165k I'm fine I just need 1 more 50% too see if I can pass 170k got distracted by friends won'ting my gun skills to come out of retirement for fallout 76

Hey, thank you for watching! The Boltcaster when fully upgraded is still the best overall weapon in NMS, but the Neutron Cannon with 170k damage is an absolute beast. Those pesky sentinels don't stand a chance.😎
Using seed burning you only need 5-10 identical class X modules, and any module that you have uninstalled in your inventory. The modules follow a pattern that even if you reload the game, it repeats exactly the same. We can use that to our advantage. For example. You install 5 identical modules. and the one you like the most is number 3... instead of selling the rest of the modules, you load the game that you previously created without getting on and off the ship; and the module you have in your inventory you install and uninstall 2 times. and then you put the class X module. It will be module number 3. the one you chose. This way you save thousands of nanites. if you don't like any. Install and uninstall the module you have in your inventory the same times as class X modules you have purchased. Save the game and place the 5 class X modules. They would be 6,7,8,9 and 10. Choose which of them you like best and load the game. then install and uninstall the module you have in your inventory and finally equip the one you want in the corresponding position. . I don't know if it was understood well. I hope so.
Followed the video and got the exact multi-tool, added the neutron cannon upgrades and it just went to 53,659. The same as my other sentinal mult-tool...
I would love to see a maximum damage build for a Sentinel multitool mining laser. I use a mining laser to fight Sentinels because it has no recoil. Maximizing damage for the mining laser (mining yield isn't important for this) would be a massive step forward for me.
There are multi tool mods that can drop recoil to zilch on boltcaster and plasma spitter and shotgun. Tossing those mods on dedicated assault weapons and boosted slots can make you a menace.
