If you refine, say green eggs into 50 nanites, refine the nanites into a stack of 4000, don't take them out, then place refineries on top, and it will duplicate the nanites way faster. You can even put something in the first slot and and double dup...

Recovering glitcher here, I would do the abandon building mission get 5 stacks of the 10 larva cores. process all but one stack of 10, put 10 in the refiner leaving the 2500 nanites in the processed side, then multiply your refiners and delete them. replenishing the larva cores and quadrupiling your nanites.
I was wondering if it duplicated in the output slot as well as the input slot because usually when I do the nano glitch like that, I usually just had a habit pull the Nas out of the output slot and drop them into the input slot and then collect all my nites, but if you could just leave them into the output slot, then yeah that would be cool cause then I could drop in Some other item and get double the items back you could also collect your refiners down to the last one and then check the refiner, and there should still be nights in it and then you could re-drop the refiners back down over it, and then recollect all those nites again And you could do that over and over again so if you were to get say like what I do I usually get about 4009 nights and then I just start dropping refiners on it and then pull them back, but I keep count so that I can get down to the last refinerand then I restock my refiners and then I do it again and then I do it again and that’s how I get up in the millions of night nights

I have found the next to get nanites with this message is to have your inventory full when you try to destroy your refiner, it gives you an error but still gives you the nanites and you can continue doing that until you have more nanites than you’ll ever need

Fill a storage container with portable refiners. I usually do 60 total. When all mould is refined hit each one with your 60 glitch and you have 1bil nanites in 50 min
Personally I don't glitch cos ... just the way I like to play .. but I am FASCINATED by glitches, and these are stunning. Like ... I don't even know how the devs have them in there and I applaud players for being able to figure them out. it's like watching a speed runner and the devs are like "WTF?" ... this is like that for me. it's kinda ingenious.

The unit glitch is much easier. Just have two ships you wanna sell (best are Sentinel ships because the bring a ton of money) and then you scrap the first, than you need to be fast and switch your ship to the second you wanna sell over the menu. If you done it fast enough, the ship you just sold is still there. So you just scrap one, switch, scrap the second, switch scrap the first again and so one. I found this out while ship hunting and selling a bunch of ships I didnt need.
Can't you set the game difficulty so that things are free? :) But it is interesting to see how reloading saved games reload your inventory but forget to re-initialize the store inventory markers.
That why I think these glitches are just part of the game. It is a feature not a bug 😂. May be they just carefully programmed into it and let player to have fun. That explains why over many years they are never being fixed.
The whole reason i came here was to see if i accidentally did a dupe because i suddenly have 3 stacks of starship capcity upgrades, and i dont know how... i had a couple, and now i have 60 of them and 60 something multitool slot upgrades.
It may be that you were gifted them if you were hanging around space anomaly, I've received a stack of anomaly detectors just like that It is involved in another dupe glitch, so getting gifts is relatively common if you have a name that shows on top of the lists alphabetically
I don't understand. I don't (and never had) two (or more) options to load different saved files. I only have ONE option, to load the last restore file. I don't have an autosave file. I have the PC, steam version.
I find it easier to play on relaxed mode with free purchases and crafting, no real need for units or nanites. I still earn units for the milestones and while I could just make 100s of stasis devices for free I'm taking my time with trading. Using a save editor I can either give myself all the quicksilver items or increase my quicksilver so I can buy what I want.
I prefer haulers and my personal experience is that you have a better chance to get high value cargo in Pirate GEK systems, they have much more haulers. You need at least space for three ships, and then scrap all three ships - haulers - at the same time. You will find one item with a value around ten miliion per unit for sure. And don’t worry about ship class.
Just came to this video as a newbie to duping. I didnt manage to do it the first time too buut my second and third attempt were successful and I have two theories - I kept the button to destroy the refiners pushed instead of doing seperate pushes like the first time and I REALLY paid attention to get the additional refiners almost perfectly into the first one.
small correction: the personal refiner glitch absolutely DOES work on upgrade modules like the one you hovered over then deleted (works for exosuit inventory, starship inventory, multitool slots, freighter cargo, salvaged frigate modules, and factory override units). Also a potential option for salvageable scrap of which you need a ton of if you want to unlock all the building materials

If you refine ten hyaline brains,put the nanites in the input side of the refiner then do the refiner glitch you can multiply your nanites,the more refiners you use the more nanites you get.Works with other things like tainted metal,mold etc...
It still works, you have to remember that when you first load into the game, a restore point is not created, so you have to enter and exit your spaceship to create it first Just did it yesterday, and probably wont be fixed until the next update, unless they keep it in

Just stacked refiners. Refined pugneum, did not remove nanite clusters. Stacked refiners, removed refiners and it works.

that's weird, I have always gotten them from a class and up, but if you cant get them then just use the most expensive item from the ship.

No, they recently patched the game so you cannot put the upgrade modules in the refiner.
