This *Geography Now* guy is constantly changing or messing up pronunciations.
I've spotted at least one in every video I've seen from that channel, along with multiple mistakes with his "facts" which I'll also spot myself, or read about in the comments.
I can't wait to see how many mispronunciations, and false facts he makes when he eventually gets around to doing England, and the rest of the UK.

The "biscoito-bolacha" discussion is not even a thing in Brazil. The vast majority of Brazilians don't care about how you call your cookies. It's most an internal joke in Rio de Janeiro, where people only call their cookies as "biscoito" (which is actually an adaptation of a French word), and make fun of everyone who calls them "bolacha" (which is the original Portuguese word for the food in question).

But for those kind of questions portuguese speakers should just follow the southern Brazil accent, since we speak a closer portuguese to the one speaked by the portuguese explorers from 16th century, more similar even compared with portuguese from portugal nowadays.
