If you told me in September that by new year's day i would have WAY more confidence in the Flyers than theEagles...i would have been in shock. I was watching from game 1 anyway and man am I glad. Flyers play team hockey every man is all in.Torts knows what he is doing.
I agree. I wasn't crazy about the choice at first - the Tortorella drama on the bench, with the press - but there's been none of that in games and very little with the media - nothing like when he was in NY. Tortorella seems to be exactly the right head coach for this bunch. They're obviously buying into his game plans.
Awesome coach, he develops and teaches. He sees the next step and has a vision to coach these players to succeed and improve. Not all coaches can put it together like that.
That was a great game for the Flyers. Defense was clicking and made some great stands, our breakout was working, the power play looked better. Ooooo Brink's gonna be doing some Tripod Pushes. Leg Drives. Thrust of War. Side and Power Bumps. Hit the Wall. Pinning. Prison Breakout. Guard the Lane. KEEP GRINDIN', BOYS! LET'S GO FLYERS!!
@boomer1049 we've been great but there's no denying the pp sucks. If we could get serious about special teams the flyers would be a scary team even in the rebuild

As Torts put it Catsie was starting to show his offensive upside?!? Saw game yesterday we played outstanding aside from Risto and Frost .. Loved watching Brink play here in MN for Minnetonka. Hope he learns how to check because he's a real asset to this team.
