Thanks for the video. Funny thing is, our vehicles are in Km/h so each press of the (+) or (-) gives us 1.6 Km/h increments. lol... I have to drive and do math. Anyway, at 1:20, when you went from 60 to 65mph by pressing the (+) 5 times, that will be the new cruise speed. No need to press Set. Pressing Set is basically pressing the (-) once and so, you'll go back one notch slower to 64mph and that will be the new cruise speed. Set and Resume are only active when cruise control is turned ON but inactive or in a Cancel state.
Oh damn, then its really just not working, thanks for the guide, we were so confused why it is not good if we do anything, but now I finally understand. Really great, short and clear video, thanks very much, it is much and much very helpful!
Thank God you only went over the necessary and pertinent information. Some people will go into detail about the interface between the cruise control and the engine for no good reason.
Thanks dude, i have scion tc 2007 with this exact same cruise control and I was trying to figure out why it wasn't working even tho I was pressing the "turn on" button but i didn't know you have to set it, this would have saved me gas and knee pain
Sorry but you're completely incorrect when you say that hitting the plus sign to accelerate will not hold that speed if you hit the plus sign you are telling the computer that that is the speed you want and it will be held you do not need to again hit set or "s-e-t" as you were compelled to spell out. In fact if you do hit the set function you are in fact using the minus function and decreasing speed when the intention was to increase speed in the first place which completely defeats the purpose
+Rakan Habab the SAT? Did you mean to say that you have to pass the SAT? You were supposed to capitalize the first word. "Gotta" should be, "have to". And there should probably be an exclamation point at the end of the sentence. The irony of your comment is AMAZING! You may want to rethink trolling videos, my friend. Or, you may want to have someone proofread your comments before posting. Have a nice day!
This is the best video on RUclips This thing been in my car since forever and I’ve jus figured out how the fuck to use it 😂 respect 🫡 appreciate this video a lot

Thank you! i've been having cruise control in my car and never knew how to use it, so thanks!
Angel Ixta SAME here

@@Ather178 i know how to use it but i don't have it
Me too
@@medotz2795 keep practicing in air. One day you gonna get it
If you need to speed up from 60 to 65 (for example) - just pull up and keep till the speedometer shows 65 (you don't need to pull up 5 times).
but pull up 5 times will let you up the speed without taking your eyes off the road
Right I thought the same thing 🙂
thanks just got a rental with no manual in the car! This helped me tremendously!
+Sharifa That's SO COOL! Thank you for the positive feedback!
Thank you 👍🏼 Now I can cruise at 85 on the Texas highways in my 2013 Toyota Camry SE

Thanks for sharing this information. I will try it out!
thanks sir
Do we need to keep on stepping the acceleration pedal while it's set to cruise control? Thanks.
Nope that's what cruise control does. It takes the need for you to press the gas away
but if you are going downhill, you better keep your feet on the brake because cruise control doesn't help you brake at all

Automatic? Consider doing atf
My car starts slowing down as soon as it sees someone infront of me even though there far I don’t like that I just want it set
Why is your gas tank on E? Go buy some gas pls!
