it's not his vertical or jumping ability that makes him a great spiker, it's his technique. He has an aggressive approach, springs up quickly, takes most balls early, and has a short, compact but ultra-quick arm swing (which generates that power and speed!). Combine ALL that with his youth and fearlessness and you get one of the most dynamic and best (opposite) hitters in the world!
This guy acts like he’s on a trampoline! Incredible speed and jumping ability - that’s the Japanese work ethic and skill at work. Amazing!
