  • Prime Nishida and Japan Were Unstoppable !!! Japan vs Argentina | Volleyball World Cup 2019. The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association.
Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.
Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese left-handed volleyball player. Currently Nishida plays for Panasonic Panthers at club level.
Nishida made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakai. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's Starting 6,[5] as well as Japan men's national volleyball team. Nishida led the national team to seventh place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, its best result in 29 years.

@@nanakoll605 I honestly think he only got that back injury because of all the added weight he gained, when he was younger he had the perfect body type for volleyball.

They say this because he hasn’t been performing well lately due to confidence/ injury issues. Plus teams have developed ways to stop him even tho it took them like 2 seasons to do this.

You always write negative comments about Japanese players. The Japanese national team has already won gold medals at the Olympics in the past. 3 silver medals at the World Cup. 2 bronze medals at the World Championships.
Even the Italian men's team has never won an Olympic gold medal.
