I was so surprised when I heard that Daud once attended the Academy. It makes the character so much more versatile, imagineing him sitting in a lecture hall, having chats with professors and students BEFORE RETRIEVING INTO THE SHADOWS, BECOMING AN ASSASSIN TOUCHED BY THE OUTSIDER :D
I imagine him doing the same after getting the powers, and getting kicked shortly after someone suspected something.
