After seeing this stream, I finally did it and bought Galacticon for the Switch, while Donut Dodo and Murtop will be purchased in the future. I guess what kept me before from playing them is that I am not really a fan of Steam (don't have an account and most of the games on there don't really interest me), but now that I know that they are on the Switch, they are a definite get for me. I am glad that I always watch on YT the parts that I have missed (I joined about 2 hours 20 minutes in)...otherwise I would have never known that a sizable amount of your stream was spent on the Nintendo Switch Online NES service XD You basically mentioned everything that is wrong with it and the reason why Nintendo will not put some of the more famous games on it (licencing issues, games being part of a collection [and companies like Konami, Capcom etc. not wanting to miss out on that collection money] and, what I learned recently, muddy rights issues with some games where the game developer became bankrupt/got bought out by another company so nobody knows where exactly the rights are). One thing that pisses me off about it is the slow pace with which Nintendo adds new games to it: -Given the games that were listed as new in your stream, you have not accessed this service since August 2021 at least. Since then a whopping six games were added to it...not only that, but Xevious was the latest game released...after 8 months of no new games in that regard. There are 1,380 officially licenced NES/Famicom games in existence and Nintendo is telling me that that is the best they can do? They are not able to do, I dunno, at least 10 new games a month or so but instead they are doing it at that slow as molasses pace? Well, I say fuck them and I am staying right here with my emulator and my controller.
