Ahhh, my favorite region in Italy. All of these are lovely towns and worthy of exploration. I would have listed Parma as #1 and Reggio Emilia as #2. I really liked the vibes, food, CHEESE and people. Both these towns are only about 20 miles from each other, so similar feels but still have their own uniqueness. Thanks for posting, Giorgio! I've been waiting for this one.
My pleasure Mike. It was very close for the number 1 position. Ravenna has the added advantage of being near beaches and also property prices in Parma have increased over the last year or so.
I spent a day in Piacenza last Dec to see my fave rugby team Petrarca play. Really cute place Wonderful holiday market with singing etc, had a great dinner. On that same trip I also hit Parma and Ravenna and had previously visited Ferrara. Enjoyed them all and ate well everywhere.

Tax on short term rentals will go up next year in Italy to 26% with no deductions allowed.Italy's population is declining and wages are stagnant hence the low property prices.
Yes this is case for additional short term rentals (it will remain 21% for the first apartment you rent out short term). If you follow the channel I do state in a number of other videos that buying property in Italy is a lifestyle purcahse rather than an investment. Thank you for your feedback.
Thank you. I'm looking for a retirement location and you've given me much to consider
My pleasure. So many places to choose from in Italy.

Thanks Bob for your feedback. All these places are off the radar but are all lovely places.
You're doing a wonderful work giving people not just info but insights to an alternative retirement. Bravo!
Many thanks websoup for your kind feedback.

Love your videos and suggestions 👍
Many thanks resources57.
Really like your videos but it is not easy to do the final choice in Italy - so many beautiful places to be comsidered
Many thanks Roberto. I agree 100% choosing a place to buy a property gives you almost too many choices.
