    Some Clarifications:
    1. Salary for freshers always depends on Academic background, Ranking of college, Technical skills of individuals along with negotiation skills ( if off campus)
    2. Numbers provided in this video typically presents an average range for M.Tech freshers from IITs / NITs / BITs / VIT etc.
Hence it would be little less (1-2) LPA for B.Tech Electronics students.
    3. Exceptional colleges such as OLD IITs / IISC may have even higher packages for their B.Tech and M.Tech college graduates depending on the negotiations done by T&P cell.
    4. Off campus: May get a higher or lower package based on their performance in the interview. He may get lesser amount if he is not informed about industry standards / due to weak negotiation skills.
Basically the numbers in the video are a typical average and in most of the cases respective Company offers within this range at current time.

Hello bhaiya, going to start college this year in Symbiosis Institute of technology, Pune. Got Electronics brach and I'm inclined towards semiconductors. After seeing your pinned comment and replies of other comments academic background does matter. I'm kind of demotivated, but my college provides major in VLSI from 4th sem onwards. Will I be good for the future? Also, Intel like companies do visit our campus

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  Год назад +1

Hi, Yes the college background matter line is correct. Because most semiconductor companies visit some specific colleges only.
But as you said Intel visits your college & your college provides a major in VLSI so if you would make yourself ready with vlsi skills & perform well in an interview then no need to worry.
But if companies don't visit college then the path is a little bit tough leading to either M.Tech from top colleges/ training institutes
Because both of these basically help to arrange an opportunity for you.
Selection depends on your skills only.

    • @Singh-Rajveer

      Hi,
Appear for GATE exam in both ECE and EE.
      1. If inclination is towards PSUs then a high probability is in EE side so focus in EE more.
      2. For Corporate Jobs whether it's VLSI / Embedded/ Communication/ Signal processing. ECE have bigger opportunities relatively and very few colleges accept EE gate score for ECE specialisations so focus on ECE more for this particular case.
No, Very few colleges allow EE students for VLSI specialisation in M.Tech so a better choice is ECE gate score.
