❤❤❤ the DSNY Newscast and OG55 Disney vlog multiverse connection! Jack’s videos especially ones exploring rumors over the years have consistently been so well created and thoughtfully analytical! Def always on my RUclips must watch list when he pushes them out!
It’s easier to give negative feedbacks and receive attention, but it’s harder to be passionate, positive and be honest for constructive criticism. Good to see Jack be transparent about how Disney brings media creators into their special premiere
Haha When I saw the thumbnail with Jack I thought new episode. Later I went typed DSNY his channel nothing new, was it old.. nope it's a new he's on OG55 🍊 💪🤘😛
Thanks for sharing. So much to say this Magic MO does. Agree on alot but not all. I love Walt Disney World and understand change and updates but to me these happen due to factors outside of change for the sake of change or competition alone. Just a magic Mos opinion ❤
It is critical that Disney block the view of the Pixar Place Hotel from inside the DCA park. One option is to put a Neverland where Paradise Gardens is with a backdrop shaped as an actual rainbow, with the peaks of Neverland below the rainbow. There would be a painted sky infilling the rainbow, blocking the view of the hotel. This rainbow would be spectacularly illuminated at night with a "rain" of fiber optic pixie dust. There would be a Peter Pan attraction (as at Tokyo DisneySea) and the Jolly Roger docked on the lake. The Little Mermaid attraction would be refreshed with a rock and Eric's castle look (the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts look it currently has no longer makes sense because San Francisco are is now San Fransokyo). The Neverland and Little Mermaid areas/attractions would be part of a new land called *Enchanted Shores* on the north side of the lake. A Moana water-play area would also be great here.
My guess is that the old Strawberry Fields-3rd park, Eastern Gateway garage, Tomorrowland, East side of DCA will be delt with before West side of Disneyland Dr.
Personally I would rather see Zootopia replace the backlot because I think it creates less logistical nightmares with the monorail cutting through an urban environment than through Avatar, plus I just don't think that plot is big enough to do Avatar justice and the transitions will be an absolute nightmare. Transitioning from 20s LA or Avengers Campus into Avatar will be a major challenge whereas transitioning into Zootopia would be much more seamless. And I mostly agree about hte location for Frozen, but I really don't need a full land, I'd be fine with the HKDL version of Frozen Ever After, a new permanent meet and greet for Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff, and maybe a restaurant. I really don't need more than that, and I kinda like the idea of having Arendelle coming off of the fjord with the other side of the fjord being the submarine lagoon. That said, I might be ok with the subs leaving, conceptually they're really fun, but operationally they're a nightmare, and if you're a plus size person it won't be comfortable down there. I also am hesitant on Avatar even in DCA because you would think that IF it was going into that park, they would have told us by now and "ripped the bandaid" because if it goes into either existing park DLR fans will be at Disney's throat with "why is it in this park?" and "how does it fit the theme of the park?". I still think the absolute best option for Avatar would be as an opening day land to anchor a 3rd gate at the Toy Story lot because fans would have absolutely no reason to complain about it. Personally I couldn't possibly be less interested in an Avatar land, I wasn't that impressed by the one in WDW, neither ride moved the needle for me at all, it's just such a bland IP (story wise) and I could name tons of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, or Marvel IP that I would much rather see at Disneyland Resort and actually be excited about: Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Encanto, Coco, Lion King, Moana, X-Men, Black Panther, Fantastic 4, Zootopia, Wreck-It-Ralph, Mandalorian, Doctor Stange, Deadpool (as unlikely as it is). Hell of the FOX IP, the one I would most like to see used in DCA is Greatest Showman with a truncated show for the Hyperion, it would be fantastic in there (use projection backgrounds for the animals, all human performers would be real). Also I push back on the idea that Zootopia might not work in the US, I have family and friends on both sides of the political aisle and everyone LOVES that movie, and if the queue needs to be reworked, than just don't have it go through the jail section.
would San Fransokyo have been something that started and finished under Josh? Or had the plans for that been underway before he came into the position?
1:10:00 The part about walking the parks and a new CEO.. dead on correct. Disney needs a media CEO to have ABC, ESPN and the Studios stand on their own legs and earn PROFITS so the park revenue can be used in the parks. Same for cruise lines.. which do well.. but stop using Disney World revenues to buoy the mistakes everywhere else. Only the Disney CEO can make that happen and Iger is incapable of that.. he proved it. I know you can find a Parks head who can get it all fixed if the parks got to use their revenues and borrow sensibly on their value for the giant projects... just hire whoever is doing it at Universal!
After be at Disneyland Paris I am in love with the rides. Its like 2.0 of everything. Put more money investment into build out Disneyland Paris going forward 9 out of 10🎉
Will Avatar be the only new Fox property added to the Disneyland Resort? Will Anastasia be a way to bring Russia to Epcot? Will Ice Age be introduced to Hollywood Studios or DCA (La Brea tar pits connection for California)? or Planet of the Apes Predator Alien (Alien Encounter reintroduced now for Hollywood Studios)
Jack is wrong, the parks make Disney the most amount of money and think about when EPCOT came out nothing in that park was IP releated and all orginal. Disney needs to heavily create for the parks and not just throw IP in because it easy creativly, they use to take chances and are just playing it safe now.
Disney is an entertainment company first and foremost. Yes the parks are extremely profitable for Disney and has propped them up the past few years. But traditionally Disney’s movies have been the lifeblood of the company. EPCOT was seen a huge failure when it opened and struggled with attendance. I love non-IP attractions, but it would be silly to ignore that IP attractions are easier for marketing to sell to guests, and attract visitors. They are fighting Universal (who only really ever do IP based rides, with the occasional exception). So Disney is doing the same to compete. I would love for more original attraction ideas, but there are now few and far between untapped genre of original theme park ride left to be done. Disney’s IP is what has always separated them from everyone else. When Disneyland opened nearly everything was IP based. Disney is about IP and entertainment, it is the central part of the flywheel that makes everything else “tick along”. And that’s not me saying that, that is what Walt said when he invented the Disney synergy flywheel.
In regards to X and Elon, maybe consider, if you haven't, reading his biography. It may make sense afterwards why in a week ago today he did what he did and just maybe he isn't being inconsistent. As an old fart it feels to me we are living in historic times.
Yeah! How dare Elon make a name change to HIS company! C'mon guys, this is a little sophomoric and laughable. Your political bias is showing and it ain't pretty on a "Disney" site...now back to our regularly scheduled program.
@@strictlyspeaking1943 In this case, no, but many times my finger IS pointed at Disney, they are far far from perfect. But anyhow, Elon has made changes that have ruined Twitter imho, he also said the platform should be politically neutral to win back trust, yet he goes all in on a political candidate. IMHO, he is all over the place and kind of phony. You disagree? I respect that, and you always have a place here on the channel to voice your perspectives.
Good discussion gents! Very level headed and thoughtful - quite rare these days!
Thank u !! 🙏🏼

Every Toy Story sequel has made more than the previous.

Get rid of tough to be a bug. Most terrifying attraction ever.

1:46:00 we should start a website for free Stock footage from the Parks🤔
My money (not actually because I don't gamble) is on Dana. You need the movie people in charge.
