This is my third time watching this episode. This is the most value I have seen in any podcast in the past several months, mostly because of all of the Bible based discussion.
You have no idea how many times I cried in this two hour span! The best two hours of my day and God has been speaking to me and over me through you both. May God bless you! I am going to come back to this video many times in the future. 😊
I thank GOD this video is free . I've spent thousands on all kinds of trainings and I'm telling you right now, THIS is top notch and definitely the top 1% of information out there. Pure gold. Thank God for you two
1/3 of the interview I was tearing up, especially the part where u guys explained the “lazy wicked servant” concept. That was so enlightening. I used to look it up deliberately when I read to this part of the Bible but your interpretation cleared all things up for me. Thanks!
This is such a good episode! One of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to. It’s the second time I listen to it and I’m going to come back to listen to it again in the future! Thank you guys! 🙌🏻
I just enjoy this guess so much. I do the same thing he mentioned when I am going through a very dificult moment, I focus on the past situations that seemed impossible at the time and God got me through them. I would both tell my self and see my self already overcoming the situation.I can't think you enough for this guest.
Erwin MASTERFULLY answered the question about leadership in marriage. Ryan has a lot of growing to do in this area. The Bible never commanded the man to “lead” the family singularly. It’s a regurgitation of bad teaching that has many marriages in a chokehold.
What scripture has to say about weakness… “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses,* in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9 NAB
54:09 “If you have the capacity to create wealth but choose to create less you are actually stealing. You have been given by God this capacity to be really generous to generate a lot of wealth so you can be more generous.”
Amazing interview Ryan and Erwin. Love the nuggets all over the place. Esp. the part of "...do you want to be GREAT? Then...Greatness = Servanthood" --- TGBTG!
I agree that humans have a special ability to create and make choices, and it's a great gift. It means we can shape our own future and do good things in the world. Your new book, "Mind Shift," sounds like it will help people unlock their creative side and get rid of things that hold them back. I'm looking forward to reading it!
Incredible episode. I love Erwin McManus and the insights the Lord has given him over the years. Such a powerful testimony of faith lived out. Ryan, this episode was next level kingdom insight -- Proverbs 1:7
…”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God … and the Word became flesh.” -John 1, NAB __________ The Catholic Church preserved, compiled, translated, chose the books to include and declared the Bible canon in 382 under Pope Damasus at the Council of Rome. Jesus didn’t leave us a Bible but He did leave us a church (Matthew 16:18). ”Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours.” -2 Thessalonians 2:15 NAB ”Wherever the bishop shall appear, there, let the multitude of the people also be; even as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the *Catholic Church.* “ (Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Chapter 8) -St. Ignatius of Antioch, 107 AD
When God sees you searching for him, he will meet you where you’re at. If you remain pessimistic, you are never going to connect with spirit, never able to prove existence. Shame if you dont loose your ego and go searching
The presumption of Ryan P: “I already know where I am going to be in eternity.” Vs. St. Paul… “I am not conscious of anything against me, but *I do not thereby stand acquitted;* the one who judges me is the Lord.“ -1 Corinthians 4:4 NAB “So then, my beloved, obedient as you have always been, not only when I am present but all the more now when I am absent, *work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”* - Philippians 2:12 NAB
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, so that through my being with you again your boasting in Christ Jesus will abound on account of me.” Philippians 1:21-26 NIV Paul had no doubt where he was headed. Selfishly he would rather be with Jesus but he fully believed that God was going to keep him alive so that he could complete his work here on Earth.
@@RyanPineda…Jesus has the final say as judge. We do not get to judge ourselves as we cannot take the position of God. This would be the sin of presumption. This is what St. Paul is clearly saying. Rather, we place our hope and trust Christ…as mercy is His greatest attribute. There is also no such thing as “once saved, always saved.” This false notion is a recent invention-and does not comport with the early church fathers and Apostolic teachings. The proper ancient Christian attitude and proclamation is, *”Should I have the good grace to go to Heaven.”* I realize this may be a lot for someone who has no understanding of Bible or church history -and attends a church started a decade ago. I say this in love and charity. Peace.
I love what Erwin said, "The future does not come to you, it come through you." Wow, so true and powerful.

Erwin is incredible at explaining hard to explain ideas. This was great.
Ryan, what an incredible point/reminder - people want to retire and have a house at the beach and they feel empty at the beach too.
1/3 of the interview I was tearing up, especially the part where u guys explained the “lazy wicked servant” concept. That was so enlightening. I used to look it up deliberately when I read to this part of the Bible but your interpretation cleared all things up for me. Thanks!
I’m approaching 66. “Not maximizing your God-given talent” is wicked. Time to go from W2 to Entrepreneur. No time to retire.
"You can't succeed yourself out of the pain out of your inner world." That is so powerful. Thank you so much for this guest and episode.

Erwin thinks very different than a lot of the thinkers out there. Great chat here. Thank you for putting it out there!

The one important take on this was at 1:19:40. Step up and be more. I 100% believe that.
54:22 “What God has placed inside of you is not a gift to you it’s a gift to the world”
Love this convo! If you are a generous person, have the capacity to generate wealth but aren’t doing so…you are stealing. 😳😳😳

So good…
Always seek the word of God. The bible.
