- Episode 1 of this updated series on how to setup your RGH fully so that you can get the best use out of your new Jtag/RGH console.
In this episode we install XexMenu a homebrew file manager which should be the number one app to install first of all.

For those who dont get the file to show up. The file package he has to download doesnt work with this video. When you unzip the file he has provided youre missing the 0000000000000000 file folder, you have to create this folder and put the other files in it. The xex menu should show up after this. In case you dont wanna count the 0s its 16.

I'm an absolute newbie in the modding community (I don't even know the version of XBOX software I'm in, I only know that it must be older than 2014) but my cousin gifted me an old xbox360 slim with rgh and it was so messed up with ruined or useless data that my OCD simply couldn't stand this situation. So, as a good programmer, I decided to format the console and do everything myself following the videos in this playlist. Shortly after the format I was trying to install the XEX menu wich seems to be essential to run cracked games but my xobx simply dindn't allowed me to format any (and belive me, I tried a lot) USB stick to make the hidden "content" folder to show up, so I spent more than 4 hours searching for an answer but the only things I found were other people like me that didn't know how to format the USB and then I found the solution. You have to set the pheripheral as a "Memory Unit" on the console, then put it in the computer (the memory will result full even if you didn't put anything on it) and then install a program called Horizon on the pc. Register to the site, login in the app, go to: "tools"->"device explorer"->select the "demos" folder of your device and only then put the mother fucking file in it and then it will work. Sorry for the extremely long explanation and poor english but you have to go through my same pains to find the solution. Heads up. When you extract the files for xex menu they aren't in the 0000000000000000 folder you need to create one and put the files in it. It is 16 zeros exactly. Otherwise you will see nothing on your drive when you plug it into your xbox.

WOW, I can't believe how useful your channel is. I originally came across your channel for PS4 scene updates and guides (hopefully be PS5 guides soon, I've not touched my PS5 for ages, waiting for new exploits which I hope my firmware is below 8.20 so fingers crossed it'll be compatible for GoldHen).
Anyway, I am trying to figure out how to set up Xbox emulation on my Steam Deck and I have never tried to emulate Xbox or 360 before, so today I am going to try set up Xbox OG on my Steam Deck and searching for Xbox exploit guides so I can get some basic info on Xbox modding and first video I see is one you made.
So I know its going to be a guide that's going to work, unlike all of the other useless guides that litter N00bTube, so I am glad to have found your channel.

I did everything but it isnt showing up even shows nothing is in hdd or usb. and a stealth is loaded.
first of all my xbox wont even format the usb drive and 2nd of all i cant move the xexmenu file to any drives because it says i dont have enough space even on a 32 gb flash drive. (i created the content folder myself, because it also wasnt there)
i dont get the option to format but i can configure and when i do that it adds a folder called 360 onto it? i dont get this

when i put usb in xbox it doesnt show usb storage it shows my usb but now how much storage it has or what it contains and i cant configure it gives error

@@nsa-iu7ym no my USB was 4 gb most videos say you need a 16 gb but that is for storing games bcz the games are mostly 5 to 7 gb so I got my 150 gb USB and that worked

I do not have option to format my flash drive. The only option I have is to co figure the flash drive. How can I transfer xexmenu this way?

There is no Format option . And right after setting the usb, i plug it into my pc there is no "content" folder, only "Xbox360" folder. Can you help me ? I see alot of people also have this problem

Question when i insert the drive to my computer and bring up the file for the drive it doesn't say organize. it says new and when i click on that it says folder the the next option is shortcuts. Am i missing something?

hi, i have xbox 360 that aready RGH by game shop.. i can play pirated disc game.. xbox dashboard ver 2.0.. this xbox dont have launcher to play game from usb storage.. by following your tutorial, do i need to update xbox latest firmware directly from m!cros0ft? will this cause a problem/brick my xbox 360 due to alrdy rgh baordchip installed?

My RGH Xbox 360 get a E68 error message. When i remove the harddisk, i can turn it on, but i lost everything (include the FSD). Can i use this method without using an harddisk, but using an flash disk instead?
You can get any 2.5" HDD or SSD up to 2TB if it's a modded console. If it's a phat, take apart the HDD case using a flathead screwdriver, torx T6, and torx T10 and replace the old HDD with the new drive. Put everything back together and format the HDD. If it's a slim, just slide the HDD right into the side.
How to rgh/jtag your xbox so it doesn't say corrupted?
That's the hard part of this whole thing and you'll need a detailed tutorial for that. Or you can probably send your Xbox to someone if it's even exploitable.
Wait, so I am confused. Does that mean I can only use hacked JTAG/RGH console and not anything else to work it, so it won’t show up as corrupted?

yeah if your console isn't modded, it will show up as corrupted.
What does it mean if I don't have a contents folder, I just have a folder named xbox 360, and in it there are files named Data0006 and etc. Idk what to do /:
I tried it but my xbox says corrupted. I don't exactly know what kind of mod my system has but its definitely modded, it can run games from unofficial disks. It got itself a dashboard update when I connected it to the internet today since 2005. Do you have an idea what could be the problem?
You probably have a flashed Xbox, not an RGH or JTAG
thanks for these video tutorials, I understood how to perform the RGH mod itself and that it lets you run unsigned code but before now I had no idea what things there were you could then use it with. So thankyou again for making these videos.

After formatting my USB, I do not have those content & name items on my stick, but an Xbox 360 folder instead with some Data files. What should be done in this case?

make sure u put the xex folder in the content folder or try installing it with horizon

Hello there, I found a Slim Xbox360 (Corona) that has a yellow x360run problem. When I turn in on only the power led lights up (controller leds don't), and also the chip's led doesn't light up.

i cant acces the usb, i formated in the xbox the moved it to pc then i put the filles on it ( afte i formate it again in fat32 ) then i go on my xbox nathing can be found i tried older version's. im new to xbox 360 modding and got a cheap 2 euros coolrunner moded ( just the consol ) so i dont know what im doing pls help

Idk why they didn't bother to just add a key on the XexMenu screen to tell you what buttons do what things. I know you eventually just memorize what to click, but it's a basic quality of life feature that should have been in the menu from the start and would make it far easier to know what to do. Would it have really been that difficult for them to put a little bar at the bottom of the screen saying "RB does this, X does this, etc"?

Ok follow up question I managed to get the file onto my USB using the Horizon Modding Tool and dragged and carry the xex. file directly onto the demos folder and I pluged it into my RGH 360 slim and moved it onto my HDD. I booted the xex menu but how do I get all the menus like what you have in your video. MY xbox xex menu is just blank is that normal when first installing it do I need to add these directories later on.

hey I have a RgH slim xbox360 and I have the freestyle dash I was trying to format one of my usb on the xbox but it only shows clear system cache or remove content. I cant format the usb under the xbox to fat 32 any idea what problem im running into. I even checked my usb on the pc after converting the usb and I cant see the file folder you show on your video. thanks

the linked file doesnt have the parent folder that you show in the example. The first folder in the archive is CODE9999, not 000000 something..
when i created the folder of 0000000000000000 and put it inside then it says corrupted instead of xex menu
@@angreeee You should already have the content/0000000000000000 folder on your hard drive. You just put the CODE9999 folder inside. If it shows up as a corrupted demo then your Xbox isn't RGH or Jtag hacked.

I have installed xexmenu 1.2. I am on k.17559 and dashlaunch 3.21. When I create a folder called “games” on internal and place a game copied from disk drive in a folder in that folder. After a reboot xexmenu will crash with fatal crash interception.
If I delete the games folder, everything works normal.
Is there a way to have a games folder and have it work?
I believe you may need to name it "Game", or just anything other than "games".

If you are facing an issue with extracting the winrar file, first create a folder with 16 zeroes in the content folder, then set the destination to those zeroes folder while extracting it, if your xbox says the file is corrupted it most likely is not jtagged.
Hello Guys, I have Xbox 360 phat model 2007 and it's already Jtag, so My problem is I want to format the USB to have the Content Folder in my USB drive to install XexMenu on my Xbox,
but the Xbox menu shows (Configure now and Customize) Option for me there is no format option how to fix it? I'm using 32GB Flash Drive.
Configure and format are the same. Just select configure and then put your files on the USB again

I need some assistance. I have 2 RGH 360’s that are identical. All same games / content / title updates. I am not able to get either system to see a hosted local network game. Do you have any suggestions?
both the console hosting the system link game and the consoles trying to connect to it must be on the same game update and LiNK needs to be disabled in the Aurora settings. If it still doesn't work after that then try unloading the f3plugin which is the plugin that changes the guide menu to FreeStyle Dashes guide with the temp readings and link settings.

Then your Xbox is missing a hard drive.
When I did plug in my usb stick it did show that it wasn't the full size but the xbox didn't see the XeXMenu,does that means I am not RGH and that I am RGH hacked, and If I am then what should I do??

Hello man. Need help. I try to put a DOK In Xbox. For install the xex menu. when I'm try to get In storage section In "Y options" to locate the format I can't get access to the format option of the usb stick. I got only "configure" or "customize" option as created strange data files in Xbox 360 USB folder. So I try to put folder by manually on the stick. formatted to fat 32 i make hidden folder called "content" with the xex menu files inside. Now I'm Back to Xbox 360 storage menu section. In the content usb in demos folder. No files, no xex menu. The usb show every time empty. Try and failed again&again. Somebody have a solution for this issue? Thank you.
