I'm conflicted about the revival of World, on one hand I've always like World more than Rise, especially the combat, but on the other hand there's no Yomogi for Ina to sing the dango song with.
I'm enjoying this hololive return to World! It's been years since I've touched this one but watching you zip around with the insect glaive is making me want to pick it up again

Is there a reason why there's a sudden reinterest in World? I haven't kept up with the game jn a wild did it get a big new patch or something? I'm glad to see it getting more love though love seeing the girls play MonHun together, hopefully we'll be able to see IRyS, Ina and Fu-tan hunt together one day!
No big updates, just an advertising campaign after the announcement of Wilds that went well and also having the base game go on sale at only $10. Pekora picked up the game 3 weeks ago, got her genmates to tag along and it snowballed from there. A good amount of HoloJP members are fans of MonHun, like Fubuki, Luna, Lamy, and Aki so that probably got some to revisit the game or convince other members who haven't played the series yet to give it a try. It's great.

It was a rough start but it all ended up with a beautiful flow of attacks all. 3:23:53 There is no doubt Ina has always been able to dominate with insect blade.

Probably the Wilds announcement that happened a while back, plus the time it took for news of the resurgence to reach streamers.
