As a long time MH player (PS2 days) its always nice to see newer players grow and fall in love with the series. World is the perfect entry point for players, just enjoy the ride it isn't going anywhere like those fomo gacha games.
She did really good against that Anjanath. One faint, and actually got it to limp on an early game expedition? That's actually insane for a first timer. And she got it on the second try??? Mamma's a god gamer.

So weird that I finally bought the game (first MH game since PSP days) the other day on a whim and just started and Roara starts at the same time. Let's go!
Good to see more monster hunter, and switch axe? thats one of the best.Great job with anjanath. Nice that you discovered R2 as a draw attack, was a game changer for me. Axe mode tip: During circle combo( anytime), press R2. Thats the strongest axe move and it chains into sword, which has higer dps potential, but less stagger/ part break. This move also launches you forward and it can also strike whatever is behind you( AOE is big). You can also use triangle or L2( w slinger ammo) from circle, or just keep smashing.
I'm not as familiar with Monster Hunter as I'd like to be, I've always had friends recommending it but I've never played. One thing I am familiar with is Raora's ability to learn so quickly! From what I gather, you're a natural at the game and learned it pretty fast! After all, chattini kept praising you for it I kinda tuned out for a lot of the stream since I have 0 attention span now, but the two Anjanath hunts near the end were great watches! Looking forward to more, especially if there's gonna be a multiplayer stream or two 👀 Thanks for the fun short stream! Ciaora~
If she gets the correct software (DS4 Windows) the PS4 Controller can get 1 Millisecond of close to Instant Response Time and it is pretty durable. Tweeking the Bluetooth Signal to 1000Hz.

I hate when, of all things, chats use the argument "it's cheating" when trying to tell a streamer not to use guardian equipment While I also dislike it, it isn't cheating since it's given in the base game. It's equipment for returning players who want to skip to endgame content if they make a new account. And, the reason it's discouraged for new players is that it stunts their learning of the game and gives a false sense of reliability in the equipment that usually ends up with them quitting when the equipment can't carry them anymore. Basically, it's too strong to let you build the core skills and understanding of the game.
As much as it isn't a cheat. It's disappointing that it's even in the game in the first place and that people like roara who don't know better won't be able to experience the game as it's originally meant to be because capcom is too busy selling you a dlc that people who use the armor won't even get through because they won't fundamentally understand game because that armor. Like its actually messed up how poorly the armor teaches you about getting used to the games intendeding punishing difficulty because by the time someone reaches Iceborne they won't have a proper grasp of the game enough to handle monster one shotting them. Thats if they make and they arent bored of game because from the armor making everything a cake walk. But as long as roara has fun and sticks with the game its fine for now

As a long time MH player (PS2 days) its always nice to see newer players grow and fall in love with the series. World is the perfect entry point for players, just enjoy the ride it isn't going anywhere like those fomo gacha games.

Good to see more monster hunter, and switch axe? thats one of the best.Great job with anjanath. Nice that you discovered R2 as a draw attack, was a game changer for me.
Axe mode tip: During circle combo( anytime), press R2. Thats the strongest axe move and it chains into sword, which has higer dps potential, but less stagger/ part break.
This move also launches you forward and it can also strike whatever is behind you( AOE is big). You can also use triangle or L2( w slinger ammo) from circle, or just keep smashing.
I am so happy monster hunter is getting super popular all of a sudden.
I hope Waowa mama and Biboo will do a monhun collab!

I'm not as familiar with Monster Hunter as I'd like to be, I've always had friends recommending it but I've never played. One thing I am familiar with is Raora's ability to learn so quickly! From what I gather, you're a natural at the game and learned it pretty fast! After all, chattini kept praising you for it I kinda tuned out for a lot of the stream since I have 0 attention span now, but the two Anjanath hunts near the end were great watches! Looking forward to more, especially if there's gonna be a multiplayer stream or two 👀 Thanks for the fun short stream! Ciaora~

I hate when, of all things, chats use the argument "it's cheating" when trying to tell a streamer not to use guardian equipment
While I also dislike it, it isn't cheating since it's given in the base game.
It's equipment for returning players who want to skip to endgame content if they make a new account. And, the reason it's discouraged for new players is that it stunts their learning of the game and gives a false sense of reliability in the equipment that usually ends up with them quitting when the equipment can't carry them anymore.
Basically, it's too strong to let you build the core skills and understanding of the game.
As much as it isn't a cheat. It's disappointing that it's even in the game in the first place and that people like roara who don't know better won't be able to experience the game as it's originally meant to be because capcom is too busy selling you a dlc that people who use the armor won't even get through because they won't fundamentally understand game because that armor.
Like its actually messed up how poorly the armor teaches you about getting used to the games intendeding punishing difficulty because by the time someone reaches Iceborne they won't have a proper grasp of the game enough to handle monster one shotting them. Thats if they make and they arent bored of game because from the armor making everything a cake walk.
But as long as roara has fun and sticks with the game its fine for now

Hope you continue to have fun if you choose to continue playing it. Very fun game alot to get into but becomes simpler later on once you get the basic. Whatever makes you happy just focus on having fun
