Definitely have had "paranormal" experiences during meditation retreats and various healing techniques and initiations of various sorts. Recently during a weekend retreat I had a rather intense but equanimous visionary experience. Some of the material was beautiful and others not so much. The key to safety in my experience is when you have a grounded practice and a supportive teacher and community.
Nothing wrong with trying to make a dream pleasant. It's sure better than a nightmare. But what's even better is knowing a dream to be a dream. Then even if a hoard of demons came to attack you, they couldn't harm you. And even if a pantheon of buddhas came to bless you, they couldn't help you. They're dream demons and dream buddhas! May it be of benefit 🙏🙏🙏
I wish i would have watched this video over a year ago. I was only meditating for 6 months or so before i started mudras. Then I had what i believe was an awakening. I had an overwhelming calm come over me for a couple of days and then a very frightening experience followed after that... waking up at 1- 3 every night with extreme tingles on my head, and i couldn't breathe. I was meditating to calm the energy down which would kinda work but i was extremely scared. I changed my diet completely, and i got better. I wasn't listening to my mediation teacher, and i got scared of my experiences and the evil things i was seeing and hearing. It's been a little under a year. i stopped meditating because I thought it was evil, and i was scared of what was happening. It definitely didn't feel like a good thing at the time. I'm thinking about stepping my foot back into it, but im a little hesitant.
I don't think I had a Kundalini, but I had paranormal activity in my home after my awakening as well as years before my awakening, so I'm just trying to understand how it's all connected. Also though, as I was going through my breakup/awakening, I felt like there was something in me more powerful than myself that was dark, my shadow I suppose, that was claiming control over the direction of my life because I hadn't been making good decisions for myself and my life was needing to take a drastic turn against my surface self's wants.
@i..am.. Interesting 💗. I was engaged in a deep self healing on my chakra system and when I had completed at the crown I heard a very loud noise like velcro being pulled apart. Amazing, but it did startle me in the moment.
I'm not sure I entirely agree about the psychosis versus Kundalini experience where function is concerned. I have experienced a Kundalini awakening so painful that it has interfered with normal function. It caused me pain. I have been told this is because in my case it happened very rapidly and before I was ready. I stopped all spiritual practices for the time being until things stabilize. Even in my case I don't have psychosis, it was just too much too fast and the physical symptoms and paranormal experiences were too much.
Glad to hear that eating meat will be outlawed eventually. I've felt the same thing, that it will happen in time, thank goodness! Because I have been vegetarian since the age of 7yrs old, and vegan for the last few years, and I am now 68. 🎉💙

To all the Inner flames initiates, what are you starting to See with your eyes?
I'm hearing noises when I use the energy to heal pain in my body.

@sunnygirl4017 I've heard that and sometimes it sounds like a loud bang.
How to shut down scary paranormal experiences in the process of awakening
