I didn't grow up religious, but i've always believed in God. I am 17 years old, Australian citizen, european decent. And I will definitely convert to islam when i'm in my 20s. Even 18. We'll see. alhamdulillah

Despite not being from a Muslim background, the further I see the Western world descend into degeneracy I am becoming more and more aware of the strength Islam has as a force for retaining morals and respect in culture. I am curious to learn more and it's one positive thing about the Internet that we can share ideas openly and learn about different cultures and religions. It definitely resonates a lot to the type of message I put out in my content which is about self discipline and forsaking pleasure to align more deeply to your life's purpose.

Hello...i really hope you seej proper channels like islamic scholars. Learning from a credible source is important. Islam is not blind faith. Imaan is a rational conviction. Means...before embracing Islam we should rationalise but to do so, a credible source is required. Look at Md Hijab. Sheik Uthman. Mufti Menk. May Allah will you to learn Islam and open up your hearts. Also...another tip...when we learn. Its important to seek protection from God so just say a few words in your hearts to seek protection, knowledge and be lead to the straight path.

Start from the Qur'an, that's the basis, begin from it, read it and ponder over it, if you have any questions then you can go to a local mosque and meet the Imaam there and they'll answer all your doubts, also read the seerah or biography of the prophet Muhammad ﷺ, it's important because idk if you're aware of this or not but the Qur'an wasn't revealed to prophet Muhammad ﷺ in a single setting, instead it was revealed verse by verse or sometimes chapter by chapter in the duration of 23 years. So based on certain situations and certain events that took place in the life of prophet Muhammad ﷺ those Qur'an verses and chapters were revealed in order to guide the prophet ﷺ and the muslims on what they should do and what actions they should take, so that's why when we get to know the life events of the prophet Muhammad ﷺ then you'll be able to understand why those verses where revealed and what kind of wisdom, rulings, warnings and answers they had in them. So my recommended books would be to read "Clear Qur'an" by Mustafa Khattab and for the biography you should go for "The Sealed Nector". Read these books and do your own research about this religion with an open mind, I'm sure you'll fall in love with it even more, may Allah bless you and guide to the right path

Not sure of your personal story and what is causing the confusion but I did notice that many Muslims struggle with a kind of cognitive dissonance between the modern Western values and Islam. Both systems have overlaps of agreement and they also have points of disagreement. We just need to chose the path of our creator regardless of whether the modern world likes it or not.
Welcome, Sneako! Speaking from my own experience, Qur’an is the guidance. My sholat (prayer) was once hard to do because I didn’t know the benefit. Once I learned Al Fatiha and understood the essence and meanings inside it, 5 times prayers becomes a necessity, my need to constantly be close to my creator. Even waking up in the middle of the night for tahajjud becomes easy. We recite Al Fatiha in our prayers at all rakaats and if we recite it with heart, it brings peace in us, Insya ‘Allah.
The3Muslims may Allah SWT give you health to continue the da’wah.

Growing up as a Muslim I always thought how do I know Islam is the truth. I am only Muslim cause my parents are. For the past 15 years I have learned classial Arabic and am continuing to study the Qur'an with Usthad Nouman and Bayyinah. It is the best journey of my life. At 50 now I am at the best place in my life. Learning the Qur'an in-depth is something else. Currently we are basing everything we are saying here on the message of the Qur'an. But once we taste the miracle of the Qur'an that's another level of amazement one just cannot explain in words. الحمد لله.

Even though i am a born muslim, it took me two years to have decent knowledge in islam after i got matured but sneako was having good knowledge in islam in a short time of period. his stance was so good and his articulation of islam was very truthful and honest. it's soo good to see a person who knows islam with the reality. i am very happy that sneako reverted and became one of our brothers.
