"Two blades of a scissors". Both are important. God's Grace and God's Works. Eph. 2:8-10. So wonderful is our God.
The wages of sin is death, I've earned it, but Jesus paid my debt in full, it is finished. Rom. 6:23 and now I have the free gift of eternal life with the promise of fruitful good works that I get to do, not to merit the gift, but to do out of gratitude.

I agree with the Bible and I too am often on the streets sharing its truth and grace in conversations with the Mormon community.
But can we please be intellectually honest and stop using the misrepresentation of the JS statements about the return of Jesus in our proclamation of God’s truth?
As much as it sounds as if he made a firm 50-ish year prophecy on the return of Jesus, the actual statement is vague and has loopholes, which I believe were built in so that Joseph could not be wrong either way but may have appeared to be correct if Christ had come again in a certain timeframe.
There are other ways he fails the test. The biggest of which is bringing a different gospel and preaching a different Jesus.
I came out of Mormonism because I finally realized that the burden of works and rules and extra-Biblical ordinances had drawn a wedge between me and my right standing with God.
It’s faith alone in grace alone through Christ alone.
I pray we can do a better job with this.
Thank you so much for being diligent in sharing the message of Jesus with a community I care for to see His truth the most! This is extremely important because there is a disproportionate amount of those who escaped Mormonism but then lose faith in God altogether and I especially lament for those who leave and lose Jesus.
Let’s make sure they know there’s a better hope!

This is a sad excuse for what Mormans call "Elders". The term would mean (someone with knowledge/wisdom) yet the LDS church sends these young men and women out to teach against The World of God (Bible), and yet they cannot refute anything that the Word proclaims against Joseph Smith. There is a context to the James verse. It isn't saying that works is required for salvation but that if someone puts their faith in God then good works will follow. No body forgot about the verse. They just know how to read context.
Consider this.... In the book of Mormon are found many places and such, many of which correspond to place names in Joseph's modern world.
BoM names: Geographical locations in the area of the country around J.Smith's hometown
      Ramah Rama
      Morianton Moraviantown
      Shurr Sherbrook
      Onidah Oneida
      Land of Lehi Lehigh county
      Jacobugath Jacobsburg
      Kishkumen Kishkiminetas
      Valley of Alma Alma
      Antum Antrim
      Boaz Boaz
      Helam Hellam
      Manti Mantua
      Land of Noah Noah Lakes
      Waters of Ripliancum Ripple Lake
      Sidom Sodom
      Shilom Shiloh
Hill Cumorah. A small island nation near Mozambique and on the maps in Joseph Smith's day was named Comoros. The Arabs called it "Camora". Its largest city and capital of Camora was, you guessed it.... Moroni
Now consider 2 books and the phrases used in the first chapter of both books:
      First book Second book
Condemn not the (writing)...an account...the First Book of...upon the face Condemn not the (writing)...an account...the First Book of...upon the face of the earth...it came to
of the earth...it came to pass...the land...their inheritances their gold and pass...the land...his inheritance and his gold and his silver and...the commandments of the Lord
silver and...the commandments of the Lord...the foolish imaginations of ...the foolish imaginations of his heart...large in stature...Jerusalem...because of the wickedness of
their hearts...small in stature...Jerusalem...because of the perverse the people.
      wickedness of the people.
The first book was a school text book that was published about 20 years prior to the BoM. The second book is the BoM, Nephi.
      Now consider these common phrases:
      book 1 book 2
...near the Moavian Town...And it came to pass...the army...were ...people of Morianton...And it came to pass...the army...was led by a man whose name was Teancum...
under...a chief warrior, whom they called Tecumseh...smote their they did pursue Teancum and slew him...he was dead, and had gone the way of all the earth.
chief warrio[Tecumseh] and slew him...he fell to the earth
[men]were prepared...and they let loose their weapons of war...and [men]were prepared, with their swords and their slings, to smite...with an immense slaughter...ditches...
smote...with great slaughter. And the deep ditch that surrounded filled up in a measure with their dead and wounded
the fort was strewed with their slain and their wounded.
it came to pass that the husbandmen...gathered together, and ...it came to pass that...the people gathered themselves together... and...pitched their tents...ye should
pitched their tents, [and]assembled together...And the people assemble yourselves together...And they all cried with one voice.
      shouted with a loud voice...
The first book is from a book used in the schools and published just 10 years prior to the BoM called "The Late War Between the United States and Great Britain." Book 2, of course is from the BoM.
By the way, I just posted 3 examples. I could do many, many more. Oh... and "The Late War..." contains chiasmus that are 42 verses long.
A study was done which looked at Rare phrases in the BoM. Rare phrases are phrases that are not found in any other contemporary book and that they are not found in the KJV of the Bible. There are three books that do in J.Smith's life. You guessed it...The first book of Napoleon... The Late War... and another book called View of the Hebrews.

I just started going to Mormon church.
They came to me in what I would say to be a pretty magical way.
I don’t buy into the whole Book of Mormon, there is mistery to its existence, for sure, but that’s as far as it goes for me.
    However, I will say this.
Up until now I have never felt so welcomed by a “religious” group of people as I have felt with them.
So they must be doing something right.
Also I have learned to admire the spirit of dedication to do good from most of their members, specially their missionaries.
Whereas from my point of view, you seemed to have come at them with strong passive-aggressive righteousnes.
I would love to go to your denomination next.

The true and living God offers forgiveness of sins, salvation, eternal life and exaltation for free if you are interested. That is how much God loves you! ❤️
Jesus Christ claimed to be God, not the brother of Satan. Christ was crucified because he claimed to be God. It was called blasphemy and punishable by death.
      Merry Christmas! 🎄
      Matthew 1:23
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
There is no salvation in any church. There is only salvation in Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, Follow me. Jesus is the good Shepherd. Jesus will never let you down.

Before I begin, just want to say I love Mormons, used to be one myself, one of the nicest, kindest people I’ve known. Sadly, many are being deceived, but I do know most of them have very good intentions. About 10 years ago, my eyes were opened by the grace of God, probably because I was open minded & I sincerely wanted the truth. I was truly & genuinely searching for it. This particular truth that I’m about to share is just one of the MANY pieces of information that bothered me the most.
Joseph Smith BOASTING he did more THAN JESUS?!😱
    Joseph Smith said what?!
“History of the Church”vol. 6, pg. 408-409 (starting at bottom page of 408)
“I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him, but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet.”
    ~Joseph Smith😱
I wonder if this is why they STOPPED printing these books, there are 7 books (vol).😳These were written by Joseph Smith himself!😳…And the Church decided to stop printing them? I think I know why they stopped printing these books, I think we all know why.🤔 I feel that it’s best to be honest with the members about the history of the church instead of hiding it, and try to delete it from history & even most of the time, Make excuses for it. I feel that’s incredibly deceptive!😔 I sincerely pray that more and more members of the church, and others in the world that are being deceived, or that are lost can open their eyes & their hearts & have a greater gift of discernment, and can have conviction in their hearts to know the truth & sincerely want the truth. And ultimately have the best & greatest relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ than they ever have before. That is my wish and that is my prayer. Please pray for the lost.🙏♥️ Praise Jesus! Maranatha!

I’ve heard that they’ll excommunicate you which that tells you right there they’re not the true church if someone said I don’t want to be Baptist anymore they’re hold their friends and family aren’t going to shut them. So I wonder how you dealt with that because I’ve often thought that even if Mormons really want the truth, they know they would have to walk away from everything that they know including their friends and family.

    • @AlohaAngel1111

@@joeglennaz… it was difficult at first because my whole life was Mormonism from birth & it shook me to the core. But Jesus built me up from new & helped me see the truth & I became a Born Again Christian & through this, developed a very personal & beautiful relationship with my savior Jesus, that I never ever had while being a Mormon…..it has been the BEST decision of my life. However I did lose many family members because of my choice but like Jesus states in Matthew 16:25, “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” I praise Jesus that I am finally free from Mormonism & I continue to pray for my lost family members & many others that they will too wake up & get to know the true Jesus of the Bible. 🙏♥️ ✝️

If your gospel is true wouldn’t you want to teach someone in these moments instead of being more concerned about the concert in the background. This is another way that I know 100% Mormonism is false. You can tell by the fruits they DONT produce. As a Christian, I never turn away someone who is asking honest questions. Regardless of what I have going on. The main elder here is clearly questioning what he believes and has moments of doubt but then the brainwashing brings him right back. 1. Is there only one god, or are there multiple gods? If multiple, how is a person to choose which deserves obedience? If there is only one good, who is Baal? If Baal is a false god, precisely what makes your god NOT false, aside from it telling you that is the case?
      2. Would you agree that before anything can exist, something has to create it?
Did your god create everything? If yes, who/what created your god?
      3. Is your god infallible?
      4. Is your god omnipotent?
      5. Is your god omniscient?
      6. Is your god benevolent, or malicious?
      7. If your god cannot make mistakes, then it follows that everything it creates is either perfect, or that your god intentionally makes things that are flawed. Would a benevolent god intentionally create something likely to suffer because of its flaws?
      8. If your god can do anything, and it created the universe, why didn't it simply create a perfect world inhabited by perfect beings? If your god wanted obedience, and god is not malicious, why did god make disobedience possible?
      9. If your god knows everything, does it already understand every thought and feeling you have? Does it instantaneously know everything you say and do? If yes, what is the point of religious rituals, such as prayer?
      10. Why would an omnipotent and omniscient god not communicate directly and unambiguously with individuals, with no need of books, churches, prophets, signs, miracles, etc?
If a person is not intelligent enough, or not "worthy" enough to speak directly with god, whose fault is that? Who made the person in the first place? If a person is unworthy or incapable of directly communicating with god, how can that person be capable of recognizing a valid spokesperson for god?
      11. Think about the person/people who convinced/persuaded/ordered you to believe in a version of god. Are they infallible? Is it at all possible for them to tell you something they sincerely believe, but for that thing they tell you to be actually incorrect?
      12. Are feelings reliable tools to guide actions?
Suppose I hear a person in my neighborhood talking a lot about the presence of violent break in robberies nearby, and I get apprehensive. I am convinced by the passion my neighbor puts into this story, even though I've seen no tangible evidence.
That night, I hear a noise. I FEEL certain that it is a robber breaking in to harm my family. I get out of bed, pull a pistol from the bedside table. Without opening the bedroom door, I shoot through it to get the robber. When I open the door, there is my son, lying dead on the floor from my bullet.
I was sure. I relied on my feelings. My fear of a robber. My hope of being a defender father. Feelings, not facts. Was that a good way to live my life?
Is faith factual knowledge or is it just a feeling, something you choose to believe, without any rational proof?
There are things science does not yet have good explanations for. However, unlike religion, logic and science eagerly accept doubt, challenges and skepticism, and are eager to be revised and improved. They don't claim to be perfect. Religion does.
Religion demands blind obedience, with harsh horrific punishment in this world and the next if you fail to obey. If you ignore science, it doesn't change the facts of science, so no one has to threaten you about it.
Science (reason) built the machine you are reading this message on. Religion blows up clinics and puts burning crosses on people's lawns. Religion persecutes and murders and starts centuries of war.
Religion rapes little kids, then covers it up. Religion tells underage girls they have to get married and have kids like a farm animal slave. Religion is about ignorance and enslavement and threats and judging others for being different. Religion is about cowardly conformity. Religion is about keeping people UNquestioning and OBEDIENT, aka, slaves.
Science (reason) is about rational independent thought. Are you brave enough, strong enough, to think for yourself and stand on your own, apart from others?
      14. Do you deny that religion (superstition, irrational behavior) is the root cause of most human conflict in history, that for centuries millions have been tortured and murdered "because god told me to do it"?
      13. Suppose a person has a book full of maps to guide a group journey. They rely upon it, but the group is perpetually lost.
You question the book, but your friend insists that the book is accurate.
"How do you know?" you ask.
They reply, "I know that this book is accurate and perfect, because it says so in the book."
Your friend insists that the book is information directly from god....but some other people wrote the book, based on their interpretations, and all of them disagree.....but that is okay, because of how passionately they shout about their version of the maps, and how strongly it makes your friend feel.
When you show them hundreds of self contradictions in the book, they get upset and say that you are just not reading the book correctly.
Which person is messed up? You, or the book fanatic?
How do you justify cherry picking of which parts of the bible to follow? Leviticus much?
Murdered and burned many animals as a sacrifice, as you are required to ?
How many NON religious books have you ever read?
      14. If the point is to die and go to heaven, why not simply commit mass suicide and get it over with?
Christ was quite literally a kamikaze; is that what you preach should be emulated in daily life?
      15. Why is it necessary to use superstition and irrationality to justify your practical principles?
Why treat humans like a donkey in need of the stick of hell and the carrot of heaven?
If you want positive secular behavior, why not justify that behavior in practical terms?
Religion preys upon the weak and the stupid.
      Rationalization is not scholarship.
If your god is so wise, so powerful, WHY is it so petty as to demand unconditional obedience? What kind of god would need much less DEMAND that we grovel and call ourselves unworthy? Unworthy? Who made you in the first place!
If your god is so benevolent, and so omnipotent, why does it deliberately
      cause suffering?
Why the grotesque elaborate torture scene of Jesus, when god could have simply changed the world in the blink of an eye, effortlessly?
Oh, your god cannot be understood? Then HOW can you know it even exists?
Where is your factual tangible irrefutable proof?
Suppose I "believe" that you deserve to die and I am allowed by god to kill you. How are you feeling about faith NOW?
Remember 9/11? They crashed those jets because of FAITH, because they believed religion that said they would die as martyrs.
A debate over religion is exactly the same as debate between two inmates in an insane asylum over which voices in their heads are "real".
IRRATIONALITY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. Wake up.
FEELINGS ARE NOT TOOLS TO PERCEIVE REALITY OR GUIDE YOUR LIFE!

    19:17
There are a few things that have to be done. Works are the evidence of faith. (James 2:13-24)
Members of Christian denominations incorrectly judge members of The Church of Jesus Christ, concerning our understanding of works.
    One example is John 3:5-7
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
-the covenant of Baptism is essential.
    Another example, first, Corinthians 6:9.
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
    -obedience is required.
    Another example, Ezekiel 18:30.
30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
    - And if we are not obedient, in other words, if we sin, we can repent and ask for that saving grace, because of the atonement of Jesus Christ.
-So, therefore, faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, the covenant and ordinances of Baptism, and the reception of the Holy Ghost are also required.
    Alma 42:15
15 And now, the plan of mercy could not be brought about except an atonement should be made; therefore God himself atoneth for the sins of the world, to bring about the plan of mercy, to appease the demands of justice, that God might be a perfect, just God, and a merciful God also.
Jesus saves us from physical death and spiritual death
Physical death is the separation of the body from the spirit.
Spiritual death is the separation of the spirits of mankind from our Father, in Heaven, because of sin.
Salvation is granted to all mankind who accept Jesus Christ, and is the reuniting of the body and the spirit, because of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Exaltation is becoming heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ.
(Romans 8) and entering the kingdom of heaven.
    Alma 11:42
42 Now, there is a death which is called a temporal death; and the death of Christ shall loose the bands of this temporal death, that all shall be raised from this temporal death.
    Alma 11:40-41
40 And he shall come into the world to redeem his people; and he shall take upon him the transgressions of those who believe on his name; and these are they that shall have eternal life, and salvation cometh to none else.
41 Therefore the wicked remain as though there had been no redemption made, except it be the loosing of the bands of death; for behold, the day cometh that all shall rise from the dead and stand before God, and be judged according to their works.
    Matthew 16:27
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
    John 5:22-23
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Nothing like getting blindsided by well practiced Calvinist Evangelicals with hidden cameras to demonstrate an insincere attempt to teach someone the Gospel. Real entertaining. Given the importance of salvation, why didnt these guys lead off with their primary teaching of predestination which is that Christs Atonement was only perforned in behalf of the "elect" (them)? Somehow that doesnt sound so universally appealing to me. Lets note that Apologia Studios church is one of over 10,000 different Evengelical "churches". That elect group is getting pretty small isnt it?

    To the Apologia studio man:
I understand and see your passion. I get excited too. You need to work on letting these people finish their sentences. It's super apparent that you've had these conversations and have prepared rebuttals. Why would this young man open up to the chance of something different when you cut him off? I don't agree with the Mormons nor do I agree with all of your teaching. However, the point stands that if you truly desire to make a difference in the lives of these people, you'll learn to hold your tongue and let them feel heard as if you actually cared more about their salvation than getting your next rebuttal out.

Is this man going to feel heard and loved on where he would actually consider stepping away from the church? No. The guy even cut him off while giving his testimony. The most important and precious thing this kids got which is the pin he hangs all his belief on... And he gets cut off because the apologia guy is more involved in sharing a truth than hearing this kid out. Like I said in the beginning. While talking about God I get excited to and want to share as things come to mind and this is an area I need to work on also. I'm not guilt free in this area. @@kartumagm8975I agree that Jesus is the Son of God. No question there. However I also believe that the Bible clearly teaches there is a singular one God almighty. Here's my 12 minute video about it. ruclips.net/video/tKqpWchg90I/видео.html
I think it's extremely risky that they preach "you have the wrong Jesus and you can't be saved because of it" when the Jesus they preach is a pre existence triune God which the Bible, when truly searched out, does not support. I take nothing from the biblical facts that Jesus is the Fathers son, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, walked in sign and wonders, has been resurrected, given all power and authority from the Father and that we must believe in the son for salvation as He is our way to the Father... But to say that Jesus is God in the same sense the Father is... The Bible doesn't support that idea.
Please watch my video before blasting me. I also have a video explaining why the Holy Spirit is the presence of the Father and not mysterious a 3rd person if you'd like to check it out.

Correct. To an unbiased ear there is an element of performance art. It would be interesting to consider whether Christ would allow his servants to record themselves confronting believers of other faiths for likes, subs, and (most importantly) donations. Mormon missionaries are not permitted to do this. Maybe it really is another Jesus.

Even when you share the true words from the Bible they ask to see it for they never heard it or read it. Just like the Mormons. They rely on the teachings of Joseph Smith, a false prophet. So, you cant thoroughly convince them of what you're saying because they dont follow the logic train that you do. You can tell these missionaries aren't fully following the logic here. You have to dumb it down for these kinds of interactions and conversations. I have noticed this with a lot of these videos on Mormonism. The information is fantastic, but just tailor it to your audience a bit more and the results will be better.

    12:30
They’re referring to D&C 130:14-17. In this passage, Joseph Smith shares that he once prayed to know when the 2nd coming will happen. God answers him by saying “if you live to be 85, you’ll see Jesus’s face, now don’t bother me with this question again.” Joseph Smith then goes on to comment that he wasn’t sure what to make of it. Whether it meant Jesus would come then, or that Joseph would die and go to Jesus. But it was his opinion that the 2nd coming won’t be until after Joseph’s 85th birthday, at least.
So this isn’t even a prophecy. Joseph got an answer to his personal prayer that he didn’t fully understand, and he gave his opinion on it.

      King James Version
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

This is consistent with that verse. The chapter summary for D&C 130 even says “The time of the Second Coming is withheld from the Prophet”
Here’s the entire passage in question: “ I was once praying very earnestly to know the time of the coming of the Son of Man, when I heard a voice repeat the following:
15 Joseph, my son, if thou livest until thou art eighty-five years old, thou shalt see the face of the Son of Man; therefore let this suffice, and trouble me no more on this matter.
16 I was left thus, without being able to decide whether this coming referred to the beginning of the millennium or to some previous appearing, or whether I should die and thus see his face.
17 I believe the coming of the Son of Man will not be any sooner than that time.”
So Joseph Smith did not know the day or hour, he didn’t even know the year. He was told that if he lived until age 85, he would see Jesus. This appearance doesn’t even have to be THE 2nd coming. It could be a regular appearance, it could just be what Joseph sees after his death, or any number of things.
