    very good video ! The 2 red wires coming out of the batterie are soldered together on the BMS, same for the 2 black wires. You can put them together and in the order you want...

    Absolute pain in the ass, no thanks. In the recycling bin it goes. Sound is trash by today standards anyway.
    But great job on the video, you are gifted. 🙌🏻

      Same for me... Too bad it won't recycle, probably just burn or sit on a landfill... That's a shame that JBL made it so difficult :(

    Tried this thanks to your directions. Unfortunately I grabbed the ribbon cable with tweezers to guide it into the housing slot. It smoked a little at the cable end. stupid move on my part.

      I agree with you. It would be a lot better if the speaker was able to work just with the USB cable connected.
      Replacing the battery is very complicated on this model.

    What battery am I looking for, for this replacement? Also I clipped the charger port cables from the circuit board with the aux port. Can I buy a new circuit board with the charge port and aux port already on it?

    Well that's a better way to do it. I tried doing it on my own and pretty much disassembled it completely then something didn't feel right so I went on RUclips and we'll. I regret wasting time haha

    Hey, Im trying to connect the charging port directly to the speaker, to avoid the change of battery. I only use it on my room anyways.

      @@josegabrielblockstaackmann5354 try swapping the connectors just make sure you plug the good ones in and leave the ones for headphone jack out

      @@adrianrylski8794 should I include a voltage regulator?

    • @adrianrylski8794
      @adrianrylski8794 3 года назад

      @@joseblock7490 if your source is stable (good pc or known good charger that won't be necessary, just make sure you're powering it from something decent and you will be fine) then you don't need voltage regulation. my best bet for you would be a powerbank as they physically don't output more than 5v. Also i ripped my battery apart by mistake and positive and negative wires go to one terminal (2 red wires go to one positive terminal and 2 black go to one negative) which I think meant you don't have to have both wires populated for the thing to run
