- Filming in harsh daylight sun, you just bought some ND filters for your favorite lens and camera combo but the image looks terrible! ND filters are not enough. To get that cinematic shot, you need to learn how to manipulate light by diffusing it and bending it around your subject. In this video, I'll show you how to shoot in harsh sunlight and why it matters. Plus a few mistakes I made to hopefully help you learn from.

exactly "how" did you diffuse? You only said you used diffusion.
