We use to kid in the 70’s ‘yeah .. some day we’re gonna be old and rockin out to Deep Purple in our rocking chairs’ ..... well ..... here we are guys 🥴👍
@@DonnyHooterHoot ah fuck it. If nostalgic boomers will pay 500 bucks to see this. Do it! Lol! Btw, Ian Paice really does still have it. Prob 80% of his ability still there.
These guys are unique, unbeatable... They make a class of their own. Masters. Just... perfect strangers. Period. Not to mention their respect to the audience and fans, and simply physical fitness at their age (apart from Simon, the guys are in their seventies) - that they've been giving this perfect show every other day... We watched them two days later in Atlas Arena in Łódź, Poland. They soundend even better. The audience exploded. time after time. Next they flew to Stuttgart and Milan... Perfect strangers,
Seeing this band still performing like this is nothing short of magical. They are legends, as great in every sense of the word as any band that there ever was.
Saw Deep Purple 3 times over the years. 2 times Perfect Strangers Tour 1985 w/the Mark II lineup Gillan, Lord, Blackmore, Glover and Paice. A 3rd time around 2001 w/Steve Morse. Deep Purple was on tour w/Nugent & Lynyrd Skynyrd. Great concert.
Respect - Old Band, old men - PERFECT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic performance, thank you so much. From my first contact with this LEGEND, more than 40-45 years ago, allways perfect. Thank you so so so much. I wish you a good luck, forever hearth teens :-)

Like the guy below said. TIMELESS, I get goose wumples all over listening to this. I was Hauling logs and building my first Harley when this album came out. Perfect. Thanks guys for the tonnage of mega tunes you gave us.

Rob Halford should listen to this then hang up his hat. He can’t hold a torch to Ian Gillan. I saw Purple in Glasgow in 1970, my first big gig. Immense!
Halford's recent antics have prevented me from caring about him or Judas Priest. Talk about dismissing around 50% of you audience. Gillan is a class act (despite his own antics) who knows how to keep his mouth shut.
This is good, but I miss Ritchie's trills and fills. I saw Purple Mk 2 live, 6 times. Apart from Led Zeppelin live, nothing came close to that band. Bliss!
One of those songs where they dropped the key to accommodate Ian Gillan, but pretty good nonetheless. Without Blackmore and Lord it still sounds as Deep Purple: the whole is greater than the sum of its parts
We use to kid in the 70’s ‘yeah .. some day we’re gonna be old and rockin out to Deep Purple in our rocking chairs’ ..... well ..... here we are guys 🥴👍
Amen to that! 🎉
How true you are 👍👍👍!
Front row rockin chair please
and Black Sabbath with Ozzy, great music from the era.
Amen bro
77 years young ! Awsome singer ! He still has it !👍👍🇨🇦🇬🇧

He is but a shadow of his vocal self. But that is natural. However. No 77 year old can do better.
LOL! No, no he doesn't still have "it"! They clearly should have quit when Lord died!

Takes me back to 84!! Just a touch under FORTY years ago and this album still stands the test of time. It's amazing they're still doing it!
Rest in Peace Bron Gillan. Deepest condolences to Ian and family.
Timeless. Simply timeless. 2022 and it still sounds fresh today! - Manny
sure it does, haha
That’s because they got rid of that blue grass, chicken picken fraud Morse

Perfect strangers,
The new Guitarist has giving them a new leash of life into the band wow amazing sound
I was born in ‘74 . Purple is on of those important parts of my DNA. They sound so solid and strong! Awesome!
This is still one of my favorite songs still till this day DEEP PURPLE are LEGENDARY in the music industry

Ian Gillan is a living legend. I was 12 or 13 years old when this song was new, 40 years ago. 🤟

Right on, Deep Purple! Ian is on it.
Ian sounded a lot better than what I thought he is today. Amazing! Saw them live in 2008 or 2009.
The lads are still at it!
Good to see Roger Glover still rocking out 👍🏻

Old guys Rule. 🤘🤘🤘

Missing Morse but I’m hoping they make one more album- they certainly have the means to do it

The real question has any rock-band written a better song since this one ? If so which song ?
3 of the original

Giilian Voice Still Amazing. Vince Neill, Jon Bon Jovi sing like old man but Gillian Still amazing 👍👍
I heard this song at 45 :) I am so unlucky..
Where is Richie?

Back in the day you only needed a tea shirt & a pair of faded denim jeans & you were cool.
Oh no
Sounded a lot better in 1985. I even had money then.

Again another song of Ritchie
Damn that organ player has sausages for fingers. Wow!
Outstanding~
Nice but needs Blackmore and Lord. RIP.
Maybe get Richie back for one last go at it. Sad to not at least have Steve Morse on guitar
