Growing Together: A Field Trip to the Reena Community Farm

On September 23, 2024, seniors of Oakwood Vaughan Oasis for Healthy Aging and students from Hodgson Middle School went on a field trip to the Reena Community Farm in Thornhill.
The seniors and students had worked on a community garden during the planting and growing season in a project called Young and Old Growing Together in Oakwood Vaughan.
Reena had also partnered in this venture and the visit to the Reena Community Farm was the project’s concluding activity for this growing year.
