As an adult, I’m collecting things from my past to help heal some wounds! So far, I have the full Nutcracker set, complete Rapunzel set, Swan Lake set, and working on the Magic of Pegasus and a few ods and ends. Not really sure how to display them, or when or if I wanna stop. Either way, it’s a joy to see the look of joy in your eyes! I hate to seem like a weirdo having a convo with you in comments, but it’s cool to talk to other guys that also collect dolls. I keep my collecting mainly to myself, but yea. lol. Word of advice: just take your time and collect only the ones you like... That's what I do... Tho sometimes I find myself trying to complete a set... Especially the brand of Mego...I have almost everything Mego except for extremely rare items. Try to organize the Barbie with accessories before it gets out of control 😂😂😂 that's my problem now!!! Great haul. Once again dream goals. I love the Britney spears dolls. I remember having them all even the one that sings. I was obsessed with her. And so glad she's free. I think my favorite doll of her was crazy mainly because of the metallic green top and cuz of the movie.. thank you for the nastalgia I may not have money or space but i still collect where i can amd all my dolls are second hand. My aunt who passed away 3 years ago had a holiday Barbie collection. She put them away for my oldest niece. My oldest niece now has them. She has them put away for safe keeping.

For the articulated bodies for your Mary Kate and Ashley dolls maybe you can look into Creatable world dolls they are flat chested but they come in tons of skin tones are fully articulated a similar size and most importantly they are cheap and easy to find... I'm watching this late but I had no free time to watch earlier... :P I loved watching all the Olsen dolls honestly since they're so hard to find here in Europe and the few times I've seen them they were trashed and with irreparable damage so I passed on them! Like 90% of my doll collection is thrifted the only dolls I buy in box are Asian dolls and Rainbow High the rest I've bought for literal cents and all second hand in markets and thrift shops... The sock honestly was a moment!!!! LOL you don't know it yet but in a future it'll be the mascot of your channel... 🤣😜

Here for part 2! :P Your story is really cute and pretty similar to mine. It's so easy to make excuses as to why you shouldn't be doing what you really love and then once you get into it, you realize it was never as big of a deal as you made it out to be. I've been meaning to get a Mary Kate & Ashley, so I wouldn't be mad at a giveaway, hahaha. But if you do decide to keep any, doubles and triples are great for displaying multiple fashions or to customize. Speaking of, your idea with Skipper is good and the body match isn't as much of an issue as you might think. Even when it's noticeable, you can usually get away with it as long as there isn't an extreme difference (like if you used Skipper for Brandy lol). Are you planning on completing any collections or mainly collecting what you want in the moment?

My aunt who passed away 3 years ago had a holiday Barbie collection. She put them away for my oldest niece. My oldest niece now has them. She has them put away for safe keeping.
Aww, that’s so cool! Do you know which years she got the holiday babies? I LOOOVE the 90s holiday Barbies! Your aunt must be happy her collection is stored safely. Maybe someday some of it could be on display :) I’m sure that would make her happy.

But honestly, the dolls I’d definitely love for my first Mary Kate & Ashley dolls would be the New York Minute set because I grew up with that movie and me and my best friend quote that movie RELIGIOUSLY. I’m sad the playset for those 2 is so hard to find!

Totally love all the dolls. I only have one of the twins, can't remember which one. She is wearing Esmeralda's underdress atm as she didnt come with her original clothes. She was dressed in a barbie outfit.

For the articulated bodies for your Mary Kate and Ashley dolls maybe you can look into Creatable world dolls they are flat chested but they come in tons of skin tones are fully articulated a similar size and most importantly they are cheap and easy to find...

I loved watching all the Olsen dolls honestly since they're so hard to find here in Europe and the few times I've seen them they were trashed and with irreparable damage so I passed on them!
Like 90% of my doll collection is thrifted the only dolls I buy in box are Asian dolls and Rainbow High the rest I've bought for literal cents and all second hand in markets and thrift shops...

Here for part 2! :P Your story is really cute and pretty similar to mine. It's so easy to make excuses as to why you shouldn't be doing what you really love and then once you get into it, you realize it was never as big of a deal as you made it out to be. I've been meaning to get a Mary Kate & Ashley, so I wouldn't be mad at a giveaway, hahaha. But if you do decide to keep any, doubles and triples are great for displaying multiple fashions or to customize. Speaking of, your idea with Skipper is good and the body match isn't as much of an issue as you might think. Even when it's noticeable, you can usually get away with it as long as there isn't an extreme difference (like if you used Skipper for Brandy lol). Are you planning on completing any collections or mainly collecting what you want in the moment?
