    A very useful video. Thank you very much! I hope you could prepare a video on how to drag text onto an image using the H5P, that is integrated into Moodle.

    Russell, Your explanation is really clear, however after uploading the image, a blank map and putting on 20 countries I keep getting a message telling me I must put in the X coordinates. and the "labels" are not displayed under my image.... any ideas?

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  2 года назад

      Gary, I am not using Moodle these days so I am a bit rusty but if I remember you do need to save the positions once you have moved the labels into the correct position. Perhaps you are forgetting to do that. Sorry I can't help more but I have not been using Moodle now for over a year.

  • @andrewtobey4118
    @andrewtobey4118 3 года назад +1

    Thank you! That was really helpful. Is there also a way to do a labelling exercise where a student would label a number of single images individually and assign a label for each (from a predefined set of possible labels). For example, a student would see the image of a house, car, and a bus and would label each individually, picking a label from the list (house, car, bus)?

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  3 года назад

      I am really sorry Andrew but I can't follow you and my problem is I am not using Moodle much at the moment so my knowledge is getting a bit rusty.

    Thank you so much, very informative and clear. Is it possible to import a quiz with pictures in the question text and pictures in the choices directly from Word, as easy as importing a plain text multiple choice quiz?

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 года назад

      I am really not sure about that. I have not done that before. Sorry. I have added more free Moodle videos here www.teachertrainingvideos.com/moodle

    is it possible to provide more labels then Zones, so the student has to chose correct labels and not assign some because they do not belong?

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 года назад +1

      I am not sure, it is a really good question. I must look into it but I suspect the answer is yes knowing Moodle.

  • @motthebug

    wondering how this is different from drag and drop markers....

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  2 года назад

      Not massively different. Many of the quiz options are quite similar. I do like this one though and I do use it.

  • @glenhill9884
    @glenhill9884 4 года назад

    Yes that was helpful and easy to understand. QUESTION: I want 2 images where students will drag multiple items. A yes and no pile, if you will. Is this appropriate for that? If so, how do I set it up? If it NOT appropriate, what else should I use?

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 года назад

      Sorry Glen, can't quite follow what you mean. Each draggable object can only have one correct answer.

    How do you set feedback? Can the wrongly placed labels drop down? As an example.

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 года назад

      Sophie, the feedback is automatic since you add it in when making the quiz and then Moodle delivers the feedback when the students complete a quiz.

      Russell Stannard (Teacher Training Videos) I love your videos and was able to do the drag and drop following you but after you’ve done it it just says it’s partly correct, does not say which is incorrect.
