That was a normal catch, its what he did with it after.
Man this brings up so many amazing memories. Some of the best times of my life have been spent watching OU football. Hopefully we can bring home a championship soon. Next year looks promising.
I wish you would've added the catch in the sugar bowl when Sterling Shepherd caught the TD from Trevor Knight.

1:21 has to be my favorite catch ever, loved that it was to Manny Johnson too a very underrated guy with a lot of guts played the rest of the season in that brase because he had broken that arm in practice leading up to this game.

Wow, I Can't believe this grouping left out one of the greatest catches of all time. Eddie Hinton, from Jack Mildren, 1 handed catch in the end zone for a TD with his BROKEN HAND. Rose Bowl here we come ! I have extra tickets too !!

I’m in a lot of those videos. Season tickets were in north end zone, on the “M” in OKLAHOMA.
Those seats are now handicap seats. Pisses me off when I see virtually that entire disabled section filled with able bodied men younger than me, literally running up and down the stairs carrying pizzas and drinks, and standing the entire game. Happens EVERY game.

I think this video was made by Landry Jones' parents, cause it was all him. Where was the Heuple, Hybl, Thompson, White, Bradford, Bell, Knight, Gundy, Aikman?
I've never really liked Landry Jones (as a player) and this compilation really highlights how his success was based heavily on a damn good receiving core making him look much better than he actually was. Most of his passes shown here were just not good, should've been incomplete or possibly even picked off but the receivers bailed him out with excellent effort.

These catches are what separates receivers from cornerbacks... receivers catch the ball no matter where the ball is thrown.
Ahh manny Johnson, I remember his catch like it was yesterday, I fell asleep on the floor of my living room and woke up to my brother and dad freaking out telling me he made one of the best catches they ever saw, couldn’t believe I missed it cause manny was my favorite sooner to play, that team was special

OUredneck So you disagree with him about one political topic and that makes him an embarrassment? Come on man. I'm not the biggest fan of players kneeling for the anthem but he's trying to bring awareness to a problem. You may not like the way he's doing it but that doesn't make him an embarrassment. He does a ton of work in his community as well. I've always thought he's a really good dude.
Well, let me say this as politely as I can. I quit watching the NFL several years ago, for several reasons. One of the reasons, you DON'T DISRESPECT THE FLAG, ever! The football field is no place for politics, especially when 'the cause' is based on lies (hence the NFL ratings plummet). I never said Kenny Stills was a bad person, or a bad receiver. In fact I think he has incredible hands. IMO kneeling is a disgrace, to our country and to those who died for it.

When Keith Jackson was their leading receiver and he caught like ..one pass per game.
To watch them turn into the bomber juggernaut they have been for the last 20 years is just mind blowing. Even their backs are NFL ready to catch from the get go.
It's a wonder every NFL team doesn't have a Sooner receiver somewhere on their roster at all times.

Didn't watch the whole video, but if you didn't have any catches from Keith Jackson, then you have missed the boat on some of the best catches and certainly one of the best Receivers who played at OU.
