- Autotune plugin by Antares has 4 different version. Auto-Tune Pro, Autotune EFX 3, UAD Autotune Realtime, and Autotune Live. In this comparison Reid Stefan Realest Puppet In The Game explains the similarities and differences in each version of the autotune plugin. This demonstration uses protools because it is the only software that can run all versions. If you use Ableton 10, Logic, FL Studio 20, or Studio one you can use UAD Realtime and Auto-Tune Pro. EFX and Live are for Pro Tools AAX only.

I figured out how he does it he records the audio/computer in one session then just films the puppet running through the motions. There's a man under that table pretending to recreate a pro tools session for 10+ minutes via puppet.

The latency not really the problem it’s the strength of the tune that I’m more concerned weather or not it’s worth buying

How do you hear the mix with all that cotton in your ears😎 Do you ever have phasing problems when using auto tune on doubles or vocal stacks? Great vid I have UAD as well, not sure if I should buy AT pro it’s so expensive or auto tune as a 3 for $399 UAD custom bundle? If the UAD 3 for 399 is an option.

I was hoping to see Auto-Tune Access. It's the cheapest of the bunch, and the one I was thinking of picking up.
@Bleedo JDS After much consideration, I found that it wasn't Autotune that I needed, it was Melodyne. I like being able to edit individual events, plus the price tag of $99 was really enticing. Specifically, I bought Melodyne 4 essential.

so with EFX + they claim the latency is low enough to track with auto tune in real time. also auto tune live doesn't appear in the products list on antares website anymore. a) does that mean EFX+ is meant to replace auto tune live? b) what do you think about the claim that latency is low enough on EFX + to track in real time?
would the Auto Key plug in work with older versions of Auto Tune? I know the send button would not work but once it tells you the key of the beat you could manually set it on older auto tune version no??
The key auto key finds will be correct for every version but the “send to auto tune” button will only work with newer versions

Perfecto Ali Salaam El of course you could, but in case those audios do overlap, autotune wont correct both, since it is a monophonic pitch correction tool. And in case those audios dont overlap... why would you want them in separate tracks?
What I I would do in your situation is to place auto tune on the vocal, bounce the track with auto tune on it, then take off the auto tune plugin to save cpu. Be cautious that it will permanently write the auto tune in the vocal. So in other words make sure that it’s the sound that you want.

Hi, I have a question: do I still need melodyne when I have autotune pro? Or can autotune pro do everything melodyne can do?
Magnoliyah autotune is all you need. If autotune doesn’t get a note fixed you can re-sing it or slightly pitch shift that word up or down with your DAW till autotune sounds correct. 🤘🏻

RME ADI 2 Pro is awesome!!! The interface is the most important device as you stated. The perfect mix & master will suffer with shitty AD DA conversion. Most home studios miss this very important aspect. "THAT SOUND" of radio ready mixes often ends at the conversion. I'm using the blackface UAD apollo 8 quad with UAD 2 Satellite and a shit load of uad plugs. As well as the Dangerous DBox for analog summing. The apollo sounds great but want to use something else for the AD DA conversion. The RME is in the top 3 converters I've been looking at. Your sound quality is excellent and I knew you were using some top notch.
how do i use auto tune evo if i have a mac? or something similar?
Is there a reason why you don’t use live when mixing? Any draw backs? Because I find myself bouncing back from live and efx I I like having more fine tune options. I’m gonna upgrade to pro eventually. But I’m loving live right now. Would you recommend that I track with live and use another version for the actually mix. Why? How could that benefit the mix? Wouldn’t the fact that live is low latency and less cpu sucking that I could use more instances of it in the mix with less bottle neck
