It's weird, because in the base game you can play for hundreds of hours without encountering a lot of clothing(and some suits), UNLESS you kill or have high en pickpocketing perks. Personally I like the black and gold variant of the Va'Ruun clothing.
@@XoRandomGuyoX Yeah, i like some of the Va'ruun outfits too! One modder has a bunch of black w/neon colors. I didn't know you can pick pocket clothing. I haven't found any and I'm a maxed out stealth build Lvl 165
Maybe the old Zealot armor is from the time of the Serpent's Crusade, where the stuff from the expansion is next gen tech that was introduced after the crusade ended.
Really hoping a modder comes along and makes these all darker. I like the grey, but I think it’d look better in black. And maybe change the blue lights on the assault/heavy assault variants to green.
Not gonna lie the expansion as a whole is a lot better than most people were thinking it was going to be (myself included in that) the weapons alone were a big improvement really
@@MrDreamGames that is true but the the ones that were are still a big improvement over what the laser weapons should have been since release the few hours I've played the reskin of the Orion laser rifle is probably my favorite one so far and I just have the base version and it's taking stuff down faster than I can fire it
If heard the exact opposite, no new ship parts no new poi or companions. 6 reskinned weapons and that’s it, sounds terrible not to mention they made anjreja a bio male, tricking anyone who married it.
@@Lord-Kreeka The "no new companions" thing is just false as there are 2 new companions. You're right about the no new ship parts which is honestly pretty disappointing. There are new POIs, but they are only related to Va'Ruun Kai. These are all handcrafted as well. So no repeats. Not sure what you're talking about with Andreja.
I don't know about enemies, but the Assault Armor can be seen worn by Va'ruun Soldiers. There are barracks in Dasra and you can find them wandering around in that armor. Sadly I haven't found any lockers with the armor though. The actual armory in the city is still unavailable to me. Perhaps the armor can be purchased from there after a certain point in the game?

Is that spray-paint or magical space-chalk on the Zealot variants? The serpentine details on the coating are interesting. More than that though it could open up a whole new field of armor decoration, essentially tattooing images and patterns over the established suits. Of course for that to really shine you'd need the ability to manually move and place the patterns, letting them line up with details of any particular suit.
Whats bothering me is the clipping of the weapons through the suit. Will that be fixed? There is even a part on the shoulder of the heavy assault where something is clipping through the shoulder pad
DLC is ammazing, my focus was on exploration, story etc whichis very good, the planet design, art creatures is excellentand the explorationis allot of fun... not as focused on wanting lits of new guns, suit etc.. mods are killing it in those areas just look at Zone97 ammazing gear, clothing, suits, that 501 guy with the ammazing Project warfare gun sets, HyperX guns etc... same for ship and out post building the modders are doing awsome.

Honestly really dissappointed with the gear side of things in the DLC, Va'ruun kai is cool as a location but the fact that we basically got two variants of one new spacesuit and almost everything else basically being a reskin (Most the new Va'ruun weapons are just other manufacturers with green plating, the city guards just have the generic security outift with the operator helm) is a major let down for an annual DLC, if this had dropped 4-6 months after launch I might've been more understanding. Ships getting nothing at all was criminal. Edit: Just finished the main quest. What are we even doing here Bethesda.
Yeah, ships should get expanded upon, especially as a fan-favorite feature. But then again, Bethesda would probably want to sell something like that piecemeal for $20/2,000 Bethesda Bucks.
Not gonna lie. I love Starfield, but the no new ship parts is very disappointing. I was genuinely surprised by that. Nothing else surprises me or even disappoints me, but I mean...Far Harbor and Nuka World for Fallout 4 both got additional settlement objects. Shattered Space is being compared to Far Harbor, but missing so much more content.

Assault one reminds me of the Martian power armour in the expanse. Very nice 👌

Just started the dlc last night and just still on the space station.
