Yes, the squats were OG space dwarves, but supposedly the Demiurg are Space Dwarf redux, at least thematically. Though they never really did much, what with the collapse of specialist games.
BaseDeltaZero Squats are still a thing in the lore, and with new edition of Necromunda it is confirmed that they are still exist and serve Imperium. However in small, almost meaningless numbers now. So Demiurgs have to be something else...

I did not change the difficulty settings, after selecting the Elite mode. So if the normal difficult is the default setting, it was normal. However, after I've seen the volley of torps launched by the space hulk, I thought it will be much harder to beat it down, but in this case, it was really easy. I've only lost escort.
You mean the big red laser of the Demiurge battleship? It was it's special weapon, the cutting beam. You can recharge it while being in an asteroid field, or next to a wreckage, and with full charge, it's pretty effective.
Collin Not in space, tau ships are made out of paper compared to imperium ships. The Tau's new battleships are comparable to imperium battle cruisers. Not grand cruisers or battleships
