      I’m new to your channel but I’d really like to see you put a center support bearing on the rear axle. I know most people say it doesn’t need it, but I’ve seen plenty of drift trikes that have bent axles because they have no center support. I have a mini drag trike with a narrow axle. If it were a wide track I would definitely add another bearing somehow. Again, just my opinion I prefer longevity over performance in a build like this.
      Are you going to put out a you weld it kit?

      ⁠@@stanlucas665yes that’s the plan! And we don’t have problems with deflection because the sprocket is close to the pillow block bearing. Hence why most motors are offset. You can get about 1/4” of deflection out of a shaft if driven from the center. These are built to last! 38-40” axle is recommended no wider or you will end up bend shafts more often. They are only 1’ shafts.
