Really, I discovered these on my like third time playing the game they're not hard missions
I remember “Unfriendly Competition” oh my god I raged hard on that mission when I first played VCS because NPCs with AK-47s are markswomen at any range
Thank you for mentioning Boomshine Blowout. I know that there is fighting based mission harder than that one (which does not involve fighting by the way), but it definitely is the worst when you just reach that one in the game.
The mission that I hated the most was the mission "Domestobot" and I don't know why, but when the robot reached the safe to burn all the money, I put the correct password to open the safe at the fisrt attempt! I was sweating all the way through that mission.
I actually really like Colonel's Coke, though it's mostly down to how accurate your ally's AI this one time. Seeing the ally actually tearing down the enemy boats for the entire mission is quite a satisfying experience. And you don't need to even shoot on your own to do it (unlike the unholy cursed Sexy Time from the Ballad) so it's actually safer to keep your distance especially for the helicopter. If the AI are not as accurate or quick as most other missions involving escorting ally to shoot (like Drive-Thru or Wrong Side of the Track) , i might actually hate this mission.
what I used to do in "Tune in..." is *Take the helicopter in the first police station and blow up the antennas in there as well as the one in little havana *then fly over to Starfish Island , look for a sports car that always (for me spawns) and floor it to the closest Pay 'n' Spray
The only reason I passed the Bug Out mission was that I'd been noting the location of all the police bribes I found on the map that came with the game. When I was flying to each tower, I tried to hit a bribe on the route to the next one. I never got up to 5 stars.
I feel like this game is most of the time one of the easiest of the series but it occasionally throws a completely bullshit mission at you that is SO HARD
An easy way to complete mission 'Money for nothing' when you reach the decoy part, rush to Marty Jay William's place and remember to pick the police bribe nearby, it will stop the Police chopper, now just park your van in a corner of Marty's place and wait for Lance and Forbes to reach thier destination.
I'm surprised he didn't mention Domo Arigato Domestoboto where you have to control the Domestobot around the Mendez's mansion and input a code (which you have to guess by yourself) whilst being ordered around by Armando to do various chores around the house.
I was surprised too The mission is kinda messy since I remember when I played it for the first time that I didn't know what was objective was about at some point (without even mentioning the few collision bugs especially in the bedroom).
In the last mission you need to pick up a star that is helps you to take out one star from your wanted level. This star is lying on the ground behind the construction building. When you have 4 stars wanted level, this mission become a way too easy.
I actually hated the mission Turn On, Tune in Bug Out. That mission I had to put down my PSP after so many failed attempts. That mission is absolute cancer.
I agree with everything you've said but I'd like to point out certain opinions of mine. In "Unfriendly Competition", the enemies are just so fast to spawn, so the trick is to move after each time you kill a second enemy. When you take down the dealer, get alongside his quad and shoot him. "The Colonel's coke" is frustrating because the enemies move so fast and Gonzales' men, while accurate, they can't prevent their supplied heli from being damaged to ruin all of the time, so if you aren't lucky and fall at the end, which both of us last time I played the mission if I remember correctly, you'd have to re-start the mission all over again, with this tedious drive. "Whie Lies" is annoying because the hovercraft is fast and kind of unstable, so you can lose Lance or crash it because of a lack of experience with the vehicle. "Boomshine Blowout" is difficult at first, but if you're familiar with the controls. it's not that bad at all. "Light my pyre" is harder. "turn in, tune in bug out" is the worst. No doubt about that. Like I said before, Lance covered the Rocket Launcher's cost so it was maybe a compormise, as the Rocket Launcher is an expensive weapon. Then again, "Tunnel of death" provides Niko with an RPG and pays well so I dunno.
Now imagine doing thiese missions on an Emulator on PC and having to graph the controls to keybind and try to match them up to the PC port of Vice City. That should be easy except the game was built for the PSP, so some actions are binded to the same button thus the same keyboard key. The Pimp Bikini babes was fooookin insane.
All of those missions are EZ but for me the hardest mission that I've ever taken is the exchange cuz u need to snipe all the enemies in 15 seconds and then when you are trying to return to the diego is a nightmare that all of the cars are faster than the truck that after 8 hits to you of the cars then you will explode and fail the mission
I think CTW is overall the most fair Rockstar game. Very rarely will you fail and say "that wasn't my fault". Maybe the isometric top down camera. That is annoying.
After watching some videos of the mission "turn on tune in bug out" you can make your life easier by getting bribes to reduce to 4 star. You can get one bribe behind construction site near the last police station you blow the antenna. 4 star isn't that bad, SWAT have less accurate aim than 4 stars FBI. If you are hardworking enough you can continue to search for police bribe to reduce your wanted level even more.
In my opinion, this is the second most difficult GTA in the series, losing only for GTA 3. The first mission is kinda hard, you have to swim, with 0 defenses, to avoid enemies with M16 shooting at you all the time
I hated high rise the most. It was the most insufferable slog I've ever gone through in my life when i was playing VCS on PSP. I remember it being infinitely worse even than supply lines because of how much of a slog it was (probably not a fair comparison because i played gta sa on pc but still), although it did make me appreciate the VCS radio music a lot where i was listening to "BALLS TO THE WALL" so much. In general I remember very little from playing VCS because missions like that totally ruined my playthrough, unlike with LCS where I was super invested and had immense fun even if i didn't understand quite a bit about the story (and still don't)
I'm playing through this currently and some of the missions are ridiculous I'm stuck on Money for Nothing right now lol also had trouble with umberto's dad heart attack mission (the cholos kept spotting me) and also the fire truck mission (the controls are annoying)
My most annoying missions were Jive Drive and Turn on, Tune in, Bug out. Jive Drive - the part where you have to kill Cholos once Lance is done driving, where they corner you from all sides. Mainly because Lance dies quickly and you have to react quickly and kill Cholos so they don't kill Lance and make sure dumb ass Lance doesn't step into your firing line Turn on, Tune in, Bug out - when I first played it, I almost had a rage attack cause the cops were far too brutal, and pretty much for all the same reasons that TheProfessional enlisted about it. I managed to beat it recently following TheProfessional's advice and now it seemed somewhat a bit easier for me, but a few years ago, this mission was an absolute nightmare for me.
guys,,,what about the mission "The exchange" whereby you have to kill gonzales men from shooting Diaz men and they all have snipers! That mission was a pain in the ass
I legitimately don't know how it's humanely possibly to do Unfriendly Competition without using cheats as the swimming pool has like no cover and it's almost impossible to kill the enemies without them turning you into swiss cheese and then after that you still have to do an annoying chase after the other dealers.
Tips on the Missions mentioned Money for Nothing - There is a police bribe near the garage so I basically went on 2 stars to make things easier. Unfriendly competition - on the first drug dealer I went into the roofs of El Swanko Casa and throw a lot of molotovs at the target which eases the mission, on the second drug dealer at the pool I used M249 as it kills the enemies with 1 bullet and is versatile, after killing the enemies the cutscenes shows that the drug lord is escaping I used grenades or rocket launcher to kill the target before they start driving. Colonel's coke - is one of the best and possibly my fave missions, the 2 men on the chopper has aimbot they kill anyone they see so in this mission I just flew the helicopter and didn't do anything, plus I used the cinematic mode to make the mission look fantastic!. High Wire - The first 2 cargos are really difficult and frustrating as for the part where we have to rescue Diego I basically got off to the helicopter and shot down the bikers, despite they're dead Diego still rides like he is being chased I let him go around until he reached Vice point near malibu club so there won't be any lamps or trees to wreck the helicopter. White Lies - Yeah I agree it is one of the worst, the only way to make it easy is to put the camera on first person/pov mode which made it more easy (for me). Boomshine Blowout - its hard to describe here but to make the mission easier I basically grabbed the boomshines that are on the far spot and left the nearest ones to be collected in the later part, I used shortcuts and even there is fire/debris blocking the way I manage to cross through it which made it easy to finish. Turn on, Tune in, Bug out - What's the worst part is that I never thought of using the helicopter when the first time playing the mission, I used a car and had to replay it many times I was a fool but. as for tips I did the same thing you did in this video except I didn't land on the little Havana police station I landed to the hotel next to it so the police didn't have to hurt me.
For all of those hardest mission i ever played in VCS the easiest but yet hard as for my opinion is the boomshine mission.. The time limit is very fast and need to be careful not to bump the vehicle om the sides to avoid been slowed
All you have to do in Colonel coke is get next to the boat, you don't even need to use the sea sparrow gun. The only time you really need the sparrow gun is when u need to shoot that heli
One of my pick for worst mission in this game is the one where you must be the one where you must drive the old man to his cafe while avoiding Cholos, it isn't a difficult mission because all you have to do is drive carefully to not give the man a heart attack while also driving fast enough to be in time, problem is, if Cholos spots you, it's mission fail guaranteed because they shoot on you with smg that immediatly make the old man have a heart attack. Luckily they have never changing position and driving patterns so with some tries and observation, you can pass them away easily, but still very annoying, a better way to make you at least have some chance was to simply having them trying to push you off the roads and not making them having smgs
Sorry but Light My Pyre is the absolute worst. I'm right now trying to pass through it, no other mission infuriated me more. Made me hate Lance Vance for good.
The hardest mission in Gta Vice City Stories are: Boomshine Blowout Hose to Hoes Jive Drive Money For Nothing Unfriendly Competition Turn On Tune In Bug Out The Exchange Farewell To Arms Light My Pyre White Lies High Wire
lmfao i remember unfriendly competition was fun but the part where me and my brother raged is from the drug drealer since we had a hard time killing it and i remember we only did it by blowing him up with a bazooka
I'm very surprised Light My Pyre was nowhere on this list as first off you have to do a really annoying chase where you have to kill the guys Lance is going after before they kill him and without getting killed yourself and you pretty much need a tank to do that, then you have to kill a bunch of guy's at the Menendez Mansion and protect Lance's dumb ass at the same time and then you have to fight Armando who can easily flambe you in seconds with his flamethrower if you're not prepared.
high wire is definitely the toughest and most stupid mission , followed by unfriendly competition. money for nothing is pretty easy , just go to the first safehouse , go and stop above this safehouse's garage , the cops don't spawn directly there , and you just need to avoid the police choppers. for turn in , tune on , bug out , make sure you have all the businesses acquired , so the bulletproof cars spawn , make the closest one to lance's safehouse a smuggling business , use the sabre turbo , then when you go to the west island , make sure the business closest to the mid-island pay and spray is a prostitution or a smuggling (high roller is preferable , because the building is taller and you can avoid the cops bullets better) , go to the northern police station on a bulletproof CAR , and then take the cop chopper and land it to the said business , take the bulletproof car , and drive it to pay and spray.
I bet Victor Vance appeared to Tommy Vercetti in a dream and he said “Thank goodness you got rid of that annoying prick, Lance! If he wasn’t my brother, I would have whacked the rotten bastard!”
Worst Missions Domo Arigato domestoboto - is one of the worst missions in my personal experience as it is the only mission where I google what the safe code is! Purple Haze - I hate this mission because when Vic is ambushed it made the vision shaky and unstable as if he is drugged, and after taking back the van with drugs you have to drive while being high on coke and the police will keep ramming you and there is a timer on the mission which will fail if you didn't finish it on time.
Ah.... boomshine blowout. It's crazier than gta sa robbing uncle sam. You cannot carry two, forklift is slow as fuck, and more pathway block, and THE DAMN TIMER.
I love how Lance is involved in a lot of these

@@futuregohan4837yeah that mission was horrible
I been enjoying your lore videos while at work, helps get through the day while being entertain and get some insight.
I thought The Colonel's Coke was actually a pretty fun mission.
I think everyone hates Boomshine Blowout lol. And it's early on in the game.
what I used to do in "Tune in..." is
*Take the helicopter in the first police station and blow up the antennas in there as well as the one in little havana
*then fly over to Starfish Island , look for a sports car that always (for me spawns) and floor it to the closest Pay 'n' Spray
I hated boomshine blowout. Failed it so many times I ended up dropping vcs before completing it😭
It me a month to finish that mission, the time it displayed the mission passed, my psp shut downed due to low battery
Shout out to that little ram that makes professional restart the mission 2 tiimes even tho there are no gun fight
Its been a while Since I last heard the "Hello YT how's everyone doing its professional here and in today I got another top 5 for u guys" intro
I'm surprised he didn't mention Domo Arigato Domestoboto where you have to control the Domestobot around the Mendez's mansion and input a code (which you have to guess by yourself) whilst being ordered around by Armando to do various chores around the house.
I was surprised too
The mission is kinda messy since I remember when I played it for the first time that I didn't know what was objective was about at some point (without even mentioning the few collision bugs especially in the bedroom).
The colonels coke mission reminds me of the scarface game mission that you have to protect the guy geting shark fins
The one with the Robot hacking and controlling in the Mendez mansion was a pain in the ass.
This mission was fun, Domestobot was cute.
@@princesslyna1029 I love the ending cinematic.
Yes Yes Yes and Yes! This mission is my nemesis.
Imagine doing all of this on the psp
Me to the only mission I have trubelel with is the robot mission because I just keep forgetting the code
Its easy on ppsspp
I almost lost my mind doing high wire on psp
Not every Game is Perfect there are bad things but you always think about the good things Nice List Pro.
Great video as always Professional I would love to see you cover GTA: Chinatown Wars as that game is very underappreciated as well.
The only annoying thing I think is it was never rereleased for other systems so unless you have ds you will not be playing it but yeah
@@aerialmacaroon6312 they released for psp and mobile also
@@bigbootyenjoyer true but still the only options are mobile/handhelds or emulators and that can be very annoying
I think CTW is overall the most fair Rockstar game. Very rarely will you fail and say "that wasn't my fault". Maybe the isometric top down camera. That is annoying.
I hope you do a saints row 1 playthrough
After watching some videos of the mission "turn on tune in bug out" you can make your life easier by getting bribes to reduce to 4 star. You can get one bribe behind construction site near the last police station you blow the antenna. 4 star isn't that bad, SWAT have less accurate aim than 4 stars FBI. If you are hardworking enough you can continue to search for police bribe to reduce your wanted level even more.
Glad you explained the worst missions in Vice City Stories, ironically have some major storyline pointers there.
In my opinion, this is the second most difficult GTA in the series, losing only for GTA 3. The first mission is kinda hard, you have to swim, with 0 defenses, to avoid enemies with M16 shooting at you all the time
Luckily in the PS2 version you don’t loose health
Man that second to last mission made me give up playing VCS for a long time. It pissed me off like you have no idea, hate it with such a passion.
I finished GTA VCS and I'm glad that I finished it
But it still a pain playing each difficult mission and only give you a small amount of money
@@dawg3415 exactly, like is it worth it at all for the low pay they give you at the end? Absolutely not
I hated high rise the most.
Lance - the common factor for disaster.
I'm sure he knows it.
And he had the audacity to ask Vercetti for a fair slice 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I’d kill to see you do a LA Noire playthough
Could he afford all the nice suits?
@Matteo Rebolledo I had a goddamn plan
2:35 in this mission you can go near to army area and stay for a while there the cops won’t do anything only its helicopter will keep follow you
Do Top 5 worst missions in GTA vice city….
1) Cop Land - The Professional's most hated mission in the game
2) The Driver
3) Bombs Away
4) Check Out at the Check in
5) No Escape?
yo you go through a lot to recreate the character's outfit when you do the play through I hope you hit 1mil sub really quick keep up the good workman!
What about that robot mansion mission? That was torture!
All of the stress you have to deal with for that one mission for 300 dollars? That’s just unforgivable!
Mainly because Lance dies quickly and you have to react quickly and kill Cholos so they don't kill Lance and make sure dumb ass Lance doesn't step into your firing line
Turn on, Tune in, Bug out - when I first played it, I almost had a rage attack cause the cops were far too brutal, and pretty much for all the same reasons that TheProfessional enlisted about it.
I agree specially since it’s on console it would be easier on PC aiming with the PSP is terrible
I legitimately don't know how it's humanely possibly to do Unfriendly Competition without using cheats as the swimming pool has like no cover and it's almost impossible to kill the enemies without them turning you into swiss cheese and then after that you still have to do an annoying chase after the other dealers.
Tips on the Missions mentioned
Money for Nothing - There is a police bribe near the garage so I basically went on 2 stars to make things easier.
Ahh, Turn On Tune In Bug Out, the only mission in the entire GTA series I had to use cheats to beat
Great video! Love that channel and that game! Shame that its stuck on the PS2 and the PSP without an emulator
17:15 it doesn't matter because u will get constantly payed by pay day empires
For all of those hardest mission i ever played in VCS the easiest but yet hard as for my opinion is the boomshine mission.. The time limit is very fast and need to be careful not to bump the vehicle om the sides to avoid been slowed
All you have to do in Colonel coke is get next to the boat, you don't even need to use the sea sparrow gun. The only time you really need the sparrow gun is when u need to shoot that heli
The worst mission in VCS is The Exchange. To quote AVGN “What were they thinking” sniping a bunch of gunmen in a time limit of about 30 seconds
Damn, they overlooked the HARDEST for LEAST rewards
5 star wanted level, so y'all basically got the ENTIRE Vice city police force after you, for 300 bucks?!
WTF?!?!?!
For the forklift mission if you drive backwards (I did about 50 50) it's easier cause it's faster backwards... hard mission though
"But is that it? Is the mission over yet? NO! The mission isn't over yet they're gonna torment you even more" 😂😂😂
The hardest mission in Gta Vice City Stories are:
Boomshine Blowout
Hose to Hoes
Jive Drive
Money For Nothing
Unfriendly Competition
Turn On Tune In Bug Out
The Exchange
Farewell To Arms
Light My Pyre
White Lies
High Wire
Lance was such a painful character in the whole game
I love all the missions in this game. VCS has some of the best missions in the history of gta
Unfriendly Competition was the absolute worst mission in the game 😩
lmfao i remember unfriendly competition was fun but the part where me and my brother raged is from the drug drealer since we had a hard time killing it and i remember we only did it by blowing him up with a bazooka
It's time for the Lance Vance dance!
No.
I bet Victor Vance appeared to Tommy Vercetti in a dream and he said “Thank goodness you got rid of that annoying prick, Lance! If he wasn’t my brother, I would have whacked the rotten bastard!”
Vic was a good guy in a bad guy's world. But Lance was like a cancer that WON'T go away. He's entertaining but BADDD for you as a brother.
I really want rockstar to release gta vcs on mobile or current gen idk just release it. It deserves recognition
Worst Missions
Domo Arigato domestoboto - is one of the worst missions in my personal experience as it is the only mission where I google what the safe code is!
