Vice City, 1984. Opportunity abounds in a city emerging from the swamps, its growth fueled by a violent power struggle in a lucrative drug trade. Construction is everywhere as a shining metropolis rises from foundations of crime and betrayal.

Well...that was fun! Always had a soft spot for Vice City Stories. Must be the neon soaked city, colourful skies and that Miami Vice atmosphere that was perfected in this! Some very creative missions too, some of the best in the 3D series. @@instrumentalsongs500 He's already done it with the PC Edition VC total conversion mod that ported LCS from mobile to VC's engine. Had the full story and a lot of the side content in it.

Vic hated Martinez so much, he beat him senseless, threw him off the roof, went downstairs, grabbed his tenderised corpse, took it all the way back upstairs, placed him down and then sarcastically thanked him XD.

Thanks! Thought I’d do this mission at sunset/night to get that nice sky for the helicopter part and the rich, red sky shining through the windows on the office shootout. Love how vibrant this game can be!

Vic Vance one of the most badass yet moral man in the gta franchise. Why did Rockstar killed him they could have made the plot of Vice City even deeper but I guess they decided not to. Sad as Vic was one of the most best protagonist for a gta game. Louise's death really driven him to his limits to steal a hunter from the army base and finish off Diego and Martinez still a game I could play anytime throughout the years. I grew up on Vice City and can't believe I've never played this game as a kid but now as a teen I get to experience it and like Vice City it was one and still is gonna be one of my favorite games of all time.

Imagine if it was Lance Vance that got killed instead of Vic. Him and Tommy would have been an awesome duo.
Vice City was made before Vice City Stories.
I guess at the time, Rockstar wanted to give him a backstory before Vice City. Same thing happened to Toni in Liberty City Stories.
Though while he is in Liberty City game, he’s hardly involved. In Liberty City, he gotten fat ever since after Liberty City Stories.
I think that guy getting killed is actually Pete, not Vic. Not only does he look and sound differently but as seen in this video Vic is totally against selling that cocaine. So most likely Lance, like the moron he is, talked his other brother into helping him with the deal and we all know how that went. Then Lance probably asked Vic for help and Vic turned him down saying that he warned then not to do the deal and now Lance should suffer the consequences alone. That would explain why we don't see Vic anymore.
Agreed, it’s hard to imagine how principled Vic used to be and holds his honor, only to sound drunk like in the intro of Vice City. -

Vic's fighting style is so badass, they way he grabbed Martinez and threw him, his powerful falcon punch, the best protagonist forever.
Sadly Victor is no longer in the GTA Franchise. But his appearance in this game never disappoint us.
He could be if they make another prequel or if they go for Pete being the one getting killed in Vice City, which actually makes more sense since this game ends with Vic turning down that deal. The Vance getting killed in Vice City doesn't look like Vic, is voiced by another actor and is in the end credits as "Supplier", not Vic Vance, so he might as well be Pete.
@@AndreiPopescuAnother point to add, Vic never wanted to handle anything with drugs. In the peace of hiding, he might have come to his senses and backed out of it all. Lance in all his craziness, would do anything to get someone involvee no matter what
It’ll be sad to see what happened to Vic two years later. That he got killed during a deal with Tommy.
To be fair, he did try to start dealing again in a town when he knew Diaz wasn't up for competition.

The amazing finale of the GTA 3-D era by ending it with a prequel of Vice City. It's very sad that Vic never wanted to be a criminal or start a criminal empire. He was forced to do a lot of things and all he wanted to do was to be in the army to pay Pete's medical bills but thanks to Sgt. Jerry Martinez, he screwed Vic up big time and then tries to have both him and Phil killed and then kidnapped Louise and revealed the truth to the Mendez Brothers about Vic and Lance which caused Armando to have Louise kidnapped and killed in Vic's arms pushing Vic to finally end Martinez and Diego once and for all. But it's really sad that two years later while making a deal with Tommy, Ricardo's men ambushed them and killed Vic, Harry and Lee and stealing the drugs and Sonny Forelli's money. But at least Vic is finally reunited with Louise in Heaven. And as for Lance, never should've sold Tommy out. Thank you for this amazing walkthrough of *Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories* 🤗🤗🤗🤗

In Chronologicaly order gta 3 is fhe final and the 3d era includes bully and manhunt 1 and 2 too so theoretically the 3D era ended with manhunt 2 and it s also the last rockstar game released on the ps2

The end of an era. You actually intrigued me to playthrough this game once again. I always loved how it boosted the 80's vibes even further than the OG Vice City and added a few gameplay tweaks from GTA San Andreas. It's actually a huge reason why it's my second favorite with San Andreas being the first. This game also felt like a 1980's action movie or a Miami Vice episode at some points with its wild action set pieces.
Good to hear! I completely agree and I've always felt VCS makes the city shine it's best. The atmosphere, visuals and style just ooze Miami Vice which is why I love it so much.

As much as I enjoy GTA, I've always disagreed with Rockstar on that. My headcanon will always be that it was Pete who died in VC, as certain things never made sense with it being Vic who passed.

@@drick4757 That's true, however, he seems very goofy, fat and unexperienced in VC. Vic Vance from VCS is a confident, intimidating and a completely different man. I know that, in two years (84-86), anybody can go downhill but it seems unnatural, I don't know.

Man VCS will always be in my top 3 GTA games, got a hella soft spot for it in my heart, more polished, story was amazing and the weapons were great as well, loved everything about it, I always loved the cinematics at the ending you did, awesome touch you put in there, it's sad Vance died from the same thing he didn't wanted to be apart of again but I blame Lance for that, another banger will!

I remember I died the first time playing this mission because I thought Martinez would shoot Diego first like he said he would. Then when I took cover behind the stairwell cover, it just shows Martinez and Diego shooting at me nonstop. I guess there’s only so much this game could do, but I still carried on nonetheless. If anything, I saved Martinez for last as poetic justice.
I can't believe I would be screaming "hell yeah!!" at a RUclips video but I just did. that part where you fly the hunter to the building and the ending was freaking awesome man, also love the radio part with glorious views around Vice City 😀

Gotta say, I hate antagonists like Jerry Martinez and Devin Weston, they think they're the big bad wolf and can get away with anything.. Yet in reality they don't left from right.
That aside, well done. Another blast from the past, but with 60FPS and enhanced graphics. Amazing job as always.

Despite both of their differences, Victor and Lance both still love each other as family and at least Louise Williams is in a better place now. May she rest in peace. 🙏💐
GTA Vice City Stories is so underrated and it deserves more credit and appreciation. It's also the last GTA game that's set in the 3D universe before GTA 4 came along, which the latter game is set in the HD universe.
The line 6:01 "You're trying to be the good guy in a bad man's game" is hit you hard and harder in an ages.
Especially for Red Dead Redemption series (where you should recommended to be pretend as good guy) can total apply this line.
I hope they have a secret Easter egg for Vic in gta6

Iconic that half of the characters that appeared in this game are either dead or end up dying in Vice City, 2 years later. This means only a few characters are still alive, including Reni.

THIS IS SO NOSTALGICC!! I REMEMBER PLAYING IT ON PS2 AND AFTER THE IMPATIENTS OF WANTING TO GO TO THE NEXT ISLAND, IT FEELS SO MAGICAL AND AMAZING WHEN I FINALLY EXPLORED THE 2ND ISLAND AND NIGHT, JUST SO OBLIVIOUS BUT ENJOYING THE SCENARY GOSHHHHHHHHH
Wait till I tell you that theres a glitch with the ramp with the pipe on the first island... if you jump and land on that pipe sometimes it warps you to the golf course for some reason. I used that warp several times to get every balloon after the first few missions

0:26 and 0:52 So that's why Diaz had Vic whacked in the beginning of Vice City proper because announcing your resignation towards a crime boss is a death sentence because the only way you're going to leave this business is through a body bag especially because when you're no longer useful to them anymore and to weed out any possible competition.
Bastard Martinez was right, unfortunately. He tried to be the good guy in the bad man game. This ruined him, he stopped asking questions, violated principles, lost love, lost part of himself, and therefore died. And the worst thing is that Martinez is right, but he got him involved in this. He took Victor with him to hell. Sad damn story.
