Wow, thanks, Vino. What a great boost for the ego you are. If you haven't ever has this, you will be thanking me for telling you of this great value in rum.
They have 1 I haven't ever tried but heard good things Fiji. I saw on their site they had some cool Hawaiian shirts with the Plantation logo I had inquired about, that they will not need after they change their name.
Thank you. I'm going to put it into a Mai Tai next video. but I'm just looking to put something else in there as well. I look forward to checking out your videos.
@@itsallaboutthecocktail Thank you! And ya, I've heard of a few folks using the Xaymaca in Mai Tais, paired with a good martinique rhum, so I imagine it'll have a great flavor!
Thanks, Tony. But a higher ABV or high ester rum might suit you more. I have some Jamaican overproof rums to tell you about. Did you ever try Smith & Cross?
As a representation of Jamaican rum , I wasn't particularly impressed. Especially when you have Appleton, Worthy Park and Hampden available. Not a true representation of Jamaican rum in my opinion.
I understand and appreciate that Claire, but some people do not like all the hogo & funk and not ready to spend the money for a Hampden. I wanted to show people that not all Jamaican rum is the same while broadcasting the value of Xaymaca. Thanks for your insight.
@@itsallaboutthecocktail I agree Hampden isn't one to jump straight into, could put a lot of people off ! I'd still go for Appleton over this - Appleton Signature was my introduction to Jamaican Rum
Please share your thoughts if you've had this or when you do try it.
We’ll definitely keep an eye out for this bottle Ray, it sounded and looked great!
And reasonably priced around $25, thank you.
Great review Ray! You have some of the best reviews on RUclips. None of the BS. I really enjoy every rum I’ve had from Plantation.
