Its mostly because of his numbers and performance in academy. Most of those 15 games he played just a few minutes coming from the bench but those 3 goals were decisive for each of the competitions Palmeiras plays, libertadores, br cup and championship. I agree its kinds crazy but he played with Endrick and had similar numbers in youth. As Endrick did well at professional and signed with Real Madrid he raised the price tag.

lol the nickname came from him having a drible style somewhat similar to Messi, like having the ball very close to the feet, he got this nickname at very young age. Its not that deep. I watched him play in academy and he just played his first couple matches for the professional team, i think he will improve a lot as he gains confidence and we will have a better picture at his skill at professional level football. The thing is, while still making some mistakes he managed to score and be decisive in important matches in his first games played for Palmeiras.
