      With a rig your size, it’s hard to decide where to grill. We understand your challenges. 😆

    Love the blow up animation 😆 A good rule to have. We have the quick connect valves for our outdoor stove top and bbq and they are so awesome! They help save time and weight when we're traveling. Thanks for sharing! Now we need to get an extended line and propane firepit!

    I hooked up my propane hose under my RV but it will not stay tight! I move it just a little and it falls out ! I push the slide back and try to insert the fitting that looks just like the one you show on the video! What am I doing wrong!

    • @CruisinwiththeColemans
      @CruisinwiththeColemans  Год назад

      Once you have the quick connect inserted into the receiver, twist it a little until you feel a snap from the ring clicking into place. Also, make sure the the on/off lever is closed all the way before inserting. That could prevent the hose from seating properly. Hope this helps.

    Don’t you have to have a low flow grill if you’re using propane from your rv ? If you have a outdoor grill that also has a regulator the flow would be too low

    • @CruisinwiththeColemans
      @CruisinwiththeColemans  28 дней назад

      Most grills are low flow out of the box. High flow grills are only for natural gas applications. Our grill does not have a regulator attached. If yours does, you would need to remove it. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

      Hi there! Thanks for watching and asking a question! We have a typical 2 burner gas grill, I think right now we have a Cuisinart. We use this to attach our grill and our propane fire pit. Hope that helps!

    Nice set up, I installed my own. i like the fire pit, what type is it and does it use a lot of propane to run?

    • @CruisinwiththeColemans
      @CruisinwiththeColemans  3 года назад +1

      It is the Outland Firebowl 863. amzn.to/3zVoJf0
      It does not use any more than our grill. We’ve used it several consecutive nights for 3-5 hours without emptying a tank.

  • @darrellparsons246
    @darrellparsons246 Год назад

    Okay, one detail that is critical. When you installed the quick connect on the grills, did you removenthe regulator on the grill? Or leave the regulator from the factory on the grill. Many grills have the regulator built onto the hose. I didn't see a hose with a regulator. Of course the RV has a regulator already, but may be too high pressure for the grill?

    • @CruisinwiththeColemans
      @CruisinwiththeColemans  Год назад

      Our grill did not have a built in regulator so no need to worry but it does run hit so I only open the valve part way to help control temps.

      This is the grill we currently have:
      amzn.to/3cYZs9s
      Full disclosure. The lid broke within a year and I had to repair it with new rivets. It is also very difficult to to keep the temp regulated low enough.

      I’m not home to be able to check the size but I know we went through several sizes to get the right one. I ended up ordering several on Amazon and then returning the ones that didn’t fit. I believe it was the 1/4 inch. It is linked in the description

    Before the regulator?
    After the regulator?

    • @CruisinwiththeColemans

      We won’t be at the camper until August so I can’t snap any additional pics now. The entire system is post regulator from the tanks and the last connection to the grill is just a regular quick hose.

    I attempted this, my fire pit fire is very week and the bbq will not even light. Any advice? Seams like a lack of pressure.

    • @CruisinwiththeColemans
      @CruisinwiththeColemans  Год назад +1

      You may have two regulators lowering the pressure from the tank connection and again on the grill/pit. If so, replace hoses or remove regulators on the devices. Also, be careful to open the gas line valve slowly, you could be “tripping” the regulator and need to reset it. Hope this helps.
