Adolf Anderssen is one of the greatest representatives of romantic chess. He is famous for his brilliant sacrificial attacking play, particularly in the "Immortal Game" and the "Evergreen Game". In this game Anderssen intuitively sacrifices the rook to grab the initiative and develop the enormous piece activity. As a result, Anderssen carries out an imaginative attack and finishes the game with a brilliant queen sacrifice, which leads to a very beautiful checkmate.

Good game and analysis. Although, if humans had developed common sense before greed, we wouldn't be witnessing one side of these gems where pieces are under-promoted to pawns. For instance, the rook on h2.
