If it doesn't fit the bottom bar, will it still work? I feel like if it doesn't fit the bottom bar, it won't work.

It has to be able to drill down to the bottom joist, if it can’t connect to that, then it can’t hold the floorboard still

Where can you purchase this kit. I live in Canada.

Either try one of your local Home Improvement stores or order off Amazon Canada. Here’s a Amazon CA link: www.amazon.ca/dp/B01ENDOPQ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_TEFB52NB6W2Y9NZ9RWRR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Why have you put on so many screws if I may know?

Depending on the noise, maybe only 2 or 3 screws will do the job. I used a lot of screws because I was trying to get the floor board really tight to the joist, to eliminate the noise. but unfortunately it didn’t matter that I used a lot (maybe 20 to 30 screws, I lost count), the noise couldn’t be eliminated

Nope. I haven’t notice any difference, better or worse

It ended up being about a 6 foot linear area for the screws. How did that make the noise worse?

Interesting… it’s almost like that’s exactly what I did at the 1:59 mark in the video. Did you even watch the video?

@@laredotransparency129 I started a pilot screw in the middle, then I went 16 inches to each side of that screw. And if you have trouble counting, that’s 3 joists.
