Starting Monday, my husband goes back to work (more than) full time - he normally works 50-60 hrs/wk, so this week will demand a lot more of me… I hear you guys are back in Lockdown?? I’m so sorry!
Jessica Ealson day by day. Awesome that your kids are back. That def takes the heat off. Your husbands hours! What?! My goodness. We are in lockdown yes. It’s ok. I just exercise all day. Cook and read. It’s kinda relaxing. But a bit ground hog. And of course, I could be doing some house clearing etc… something more productive… but the tips are closed. Just hope we stay well and grateful we are managing.

(That’s not American English! 😆) Yeah… he works so much. I think I told you he’s a homicide detective… homicides have increased so much since the pandemic - every type of person-on-person crime has, actually (all the stress has to come out somewhere 💔), so all our detective teams are stretched so thin and working so many hours. It’s truly been a gift to have him home with us for the last month (1 month today since I came down with Covid), but now his quarantine is over and his leave has run out, so it’s back to saving the world again 🙃 luckily he loves what he does!
Jessica Ealson yes, losing a bit of money from yoga for sure! I work another job at our local hot springs too a couple of days a week and it’s closed. But the govt has offered subsidies which has been helpful. I just miss seeing everyone in the mornings for live yoga. It’s quite isolating. The tip…. Where you take the household waste that doesn’t fit in the bins :-) really just an excuse for ignoring some clean up. My girls have grown up but I still have Lego and barbies galore!! Need a clear out :-) Your man has a stressful job. Long hours. Bet he loved being at home for such a stretch? Enough time to detach from work. Enjoy your weekend xx

What a beautiful flow. Yesterday, I hiked at Mt. Hood and got lost twice (missing trail signage), so I ended up hiking much further than I'd planned. Ended up with very sore lower back and knees, so this was exactly what I needed -- thank you, Fiona!

@@TwoBirdsYoga Yes, I had a bout of breast cancer in 2020! Found on a routine mammogram! It was invasive ductal carcinoma! The most common and most treatable type of breast cancer! I went to Dana Farber renowned for cancer treatment ! I had a lumpectomy and Radiation , no chemo. And they told me my cancer was gone! I go twice a year for surveillance! And I am grateful for every day and grateful for all we have learned! And I stand on the shoulders of all the women who had cancer before me! I benefitted from all we learned thru their lives and deaths. ❤️🥰😘🤸♂️

Ok wow. This might be the most blissful yoga class I've ever taken. It felt incredible, in a very deep way. I have no idea how/why I was dewy with sweat because the thing was sooooo easeful and gentle, but alas, I was. Truly incredible class. I did it before bed, which was a perfect time for it.
After the strong 60 min class, this deep stretch sequence was Perfect to end my practice for the day ! The goddess pose is so challenging and I could feel my legs nicely shaking 😅 Thank you for this sequence and absolutely loved the words of wisdom 😇 Loved seeing Ralphie , hugs to him and lots of Love and Gratitude to you dear 🙏🥰

@@TwoBirdsYoga Travel, staying in different spots break of routine and babies meant my practices got a bit irregular I was making up my own sessions moving with the babies. So really missed the guidance.
This session was 45 minutes of much needed therapy for body and mind…and the peace and bliss continues off the mat. Thanks for a great sequence, perfect cues and pacing, and the focus on what yoga should be about rather than the gymnastics that occur too often in yoga classes.
Again, such a beautiful lesson, so fruitful & wholesome because of the concisely directed attention! You seem to apply particular care to all of the bodies arcs, from the mouth's roof, diaphragm, to the soles of the feet, & the even distribution of effort on both sides of the arc, what you call an unwrinkledness, eveness on both sides. Splendid! Thank you so much, have blessed holidays (& cuddle big Ralphie an extra, please!)!

Fiona, thank you so much for this wonderful class. This is my very first class since I got covid. I was able to take calm deep breaths and I was sweating a little. I had the most trouble during triangle pose. Not bad, Just balancing was a tiny issue. I am going to continue to do this class till I feel strong enough to handle a longer more challenging one. I am always grateful 😇

@@TwoBirdsYoga Yes, I had a bout of breast cancer in 2020! Found on a routine mammogram! It was invasive ductal carcinoma! The most common and most treatable type of breast cancer! I went to Dana Farber renowned for cancer treatment ! I had a lumpectomy and Radiation , no chemo. And they told me my cancer was gone! I go twice a year for surveillance! And I am grateful for every day and grateful for all we have learned! And I stand on the shoulders of all the women who had cancer before me! I benefitted from all we learned thru their lives and deaths. ❤️🥰😘🤸♂️

Ok wow. This might be the most blissful yoga class I've ever taken. It felt incredible, in a very deep way. I have no idea how/why I was dewy with sweat because the thing was sooooo easeful and gentle, but alas, I was. Truly incredible class. I did it before bed, which was a perfect time for it.

After the strong 60 min class, this deep stretch sequence was Perfect to end my practice for the day ! @@TwoBirdsYoga Travel, staying in different spots break of routine and babies meant my practices got a bit irregular I was making up my own sessions moving with the babies. So really missed the guidance.
This session was 45 minutes of much needed therapy for body and mind…and the peace and bliss continues off the mat. Thanks for a great sequence, perfect cues and pacing, and the focus on what yoga should be about rather than the gymnastics that occur too often in yoga classes.

You seem to apply particular care to all of the bodies arcs, from the mouth's roof, diaphragm, to the soles of the feet, & the even distribution of effort on both sides of the arc, what you call an unwrinkledness, eveness on both sides. Fiona, thank you so much for this wonderful class. This is my very first class since I got covid. I was able to take calm deep breaths and I was sweating a little. I had the most trouble during triangle pose. Not bad, Just balancing was a tiny issue. I am going to continue to do this class till I feel strong enough to handle a longer more challenging one. I am always grateful 😇

Thank you Esther! Nice class to return to your mat x yes, I’ve had one of two vaccinations. Our population slowly getting there. I think we’re now 20 percent vaccinated. Need to get to 70 until we fully open up again. It’s been slow and supply has been weak but it’s gaining momentum thankfully.
