Which tyres available today would be compatible ? And TLR tyres such as from Hutchinson or Vittoria? And is the same process as with Crossmax SL wheels?
How come Mavic mounts the Rear Tire in a different direction than the Front? The sidewall indicator is backwards on the rear vs the front. Some sources says it's intentional & Mavic feels the set performs best this way. I'm talking about Road Tire Yksion UST. Many customers are confused & many have flipped the brand new tire around to follow the sidewall indicator. Yet I look at how You just mounted the rear tire & the Tread Pattern matches my new rear wheel / tire which is mounted opposite the sidewall indicator . I was about to flip mine too.
My bmc teammachine slr five came with your mavic open disc. Has been a torture and a waste of time and money, being stuck in the middle of nowhere unable to fix my puncture, to put the tyre on... it required a lot of strengh but then if you apply too much you remove the rim tape, which is super bad quality by the way so you get punctures every other day. very dissapointing guys, i´m from colombia
It’s impossible to mount the tire on a cosmic carbon pro, even when finishing on the valve. There is something wrong with the tolerances on the tires or the wheel.

Got the same wheels and try since hours to mount the newer version of the tire. It`s impossible, even with tools. And the same with a Conti 5000 TL. It`s the first time in decades i have to go to a workshop to mount a tire, ridiculous. "Easy setup" was one of the decisions to buy this wheels, very disappointing. But, if you got the tire on, the system performs very good.

Hi, I founded out after a year of use that the sealant dries in the tube and it damages the tube .I had to replace the tube

Is the tape already there when you buy the wheel?
Yes the wheels and the tires are pre-mounted, you just need to inject the sealant (included) in the tires.

I'm very surprised, I have that tyre and aksium elite wheels. And I can't get tyre on wheels without use 3 tyre lever and a lot of force....
