    I’ve made this twice. Once with pork and once with bottom round. After reading comments, i browned meat first, Used 2 cups of water and 3/4 pack of onion mix. Turned out great both times.

      Alright so thanks for those tips because I think that I'm gonna attempt this tomorrow, I bought the tenderloin and when I got home I was like "What was I thinking buying this" but seeing this helped , worst case scenario, I have a big dog

      Shut your mouth, I almost used onion mix myself today, I should of...🤦🏻‍♀️and I knew about searing but skipped it!! I hope it turns out okay...

    I made this today. I used minced garlic instead of the garlic cloves. After it was done, I made a brown sugar and almond glaze.( heavy cream, dark brown sugar and hazel nut almond coffee cream)Place it in the oven for 3 minutes as on a high broil and the flavors came together beautifully

    I made this tonight,just substituted beef broth for wine,also added a bit of sage and some onion and extra garlic and I’m here to say THIS WAS FANTASTIC!! (Like sneaking into kitchen at 3 a.m to eat it fantastic 😮😂❤

    I just made this and it turned out 😋 delicious. I did sear the meat but followed the rest of the recipe. It took 2 hrs. to cook. 👏👏👍

      Thank you for posting this! I know you wrote it a while ago. Anytime i cook tenderloin even for 3 hours on slow, it's ALWAYS overcooked, even without searing first. I have the original Crock Pot for reference.

      I would use a basic Red Table Wine if I didn’t use Vermouth

      I used a red wine, but mine didn’t taste right, it tasted like soap,,,, is there any reason why it might have tasted like that?

    I prepared this yesterday for my family, it turned out delicious! I also added Worcestershire sauce, tomatoes sauce, chicken broth, a tablespoon of sugar, and I used garlic powder because I had no fresh garlic on hand. Thank you for this wonderful, and easy recipe! SN: My pork tenderloins were frozen, and cooked on high for the same amount of time.

    That's correct, you would want to cook the pork on low for 4 hours. Since your slow cooker only has a high setting, try cooking it on high for 2 hours and then check the doneness. Good luck!

    I cook mine in a can of peach slices with peach juice. I also add jalapeno and sometimes put bacon on the lion then broil it quickly after it's cooked in tin foil.

    I'm cooking this now, i used low sodium beef broth instead of wine, low sodium soy sauce, a dash of apple cider vinegar. Now to wait for the results. will check in 2 hours.

      @@SuperElott sear is to brown on all sides or just top and bottom my friend!!heat ur pan on high add oil let it come to heat then but the meat in about 1-2 mins each side hope it helps you out !!

      I sear in a pan and then make a quick broth with the fond and water/broth. Use that in slow cooker

      A cheap red table wine will work fine, some people like using more bitter red wine, some people like using fruitier red wine. Try both and see what you like best, I like using a robust red wine. Very savory flavors

    Just use an instant thermometer everybody! If you don’t have one you should really get one for just under $15 it’ll change everything. Perfectly cooked meals every night

    Thank you for your quesiton. It's best not to cook the pork tenderloin for 8 hours. You would be running a risk of overcooking and drying out the pork. Happy cooking!

    I like this recipe, but I would brown the tenderloin first in some bacon lard, or canola oil before put it in the slow cooker.

      i've heard this version also - to sear it before slow cooking. I think I will follow the advice.

      Don't use that poison canola oil please. Use extra virgin olive oil for a much healthier choice and tastier.

      Using cooking wine is fine, master ryley, but if you leave out the soy sauce, you're going to miss a lot of flavor. If you don't have it, here's a recipe so you can make your own with basic ingredients you probably have in your pantry: allrecipes.com/recipe/92873/soy-sauce-substitute/

    Video states low for 4 hours. Is that right? Or should I cook high for 4 hours? (I only have high as a option for that length of time on my crock pot) Very new at this slow cooking thing. I don't want food poisoning:-(

    I have a big family! I need to cook two 5lb tenderloins. Could I still do it this way? What would be the cook time!

      Thanks for your question, Monique Nieto. Unless you have a huge slow cooker (or two smaller ones able to hold 5 pounds of meat), cooking two 5-pound tenderloins in a slow cooker isn't going to work. if you have one that is that large, you'll want to multiple all the recipe ingredients by 5 (except the pork tenderloin).       I recommend trying a 5 lb pork roast instead of the tenderloin, and use double and a half of the other ingredients. If you haven't got a slow cooker or roaster big enough, do it in the oven low and slow. I have done this myself with a 3 lb roast, because I had it on hand.

    I don't understand something.......some recipes for this call for 4 hrs on low, some call for 8-10 hrs on low?? That is quite a difference. Can anyone explain this to me, which is correct......

    It turned out OK generally but I didn't care for the taste. I think it was the combination of the soup mix and other stuff plus a bit too much garlic.

    Not bad.... but not great either really. I think I'd marinate the pork on my next try at least for a few hours if not overnight before cooking, also next time I plan on thickening the sauce to more like a gravey. But it does come out very tender, tasty and is simple to make.... well worth the try

    I did everything as I seen on the video and my family didn't like it at all. Idk but is was nasty to us but I washed it off and put barque sauce on it and put it in the oven turned out good.
