You sir. Earned my first sub. Your delivery and informative style mixed with camera angles made me laugh and become educated at the same time. Best coverage of this game yet!
I'm glad they convinced you to come aboard, and also that you appreciated this approach! I realise it strayed away from review and more into analysis, and I'm glad that landed well, so cheers!
Ah sorry. Think when I was editing I didn't have headphones in and was using speakers. Swapped that around and see your point! Although I think subconsciously I just assume folks will want to hear the music of Akira Yamaoka over my droning every time... ...nevertheless, welcome aboard and thank you!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! As you can probably tell, we're not exactly a high budget operation, so comments like these help zone in on what we're doing right!
Thanks so much! As the numbers aren't that reassuring, comments like that at least let me know I'm doing something right! (Tbf, I'm awful at self-promotion).
@@DiceyExploits Yeah self-promotion is a whole other thing. Have you considered entering the Kickstarter scene? Your review quality would stand out and earn you subs pretty quick I reckon.
I was saddened to see that the Betrayal at Baldur's Gate version released a few years back did little to improve on Betrayal at the House on the Hill's original gameplay. I'm curious if this legacy version fixes the flaws of the original game?
So I played a few games of the original, as well as watched a fair few others play this online, and having finished the campaign, it certainly didn't get rid of my biggest gripe which was things can feel fairly unbalanced when the Haunt kicks in sometimes. The reason why it didn't feel so harsh to me with Legacy is the overarching plot even though it was definitely present was because the entire tone of the story very much evokes a feeling of, literally, 'The house always wins.' The humans that enter are very much pawns in some scheme, even if that scheme is just being put through hell for the amusement of something else. That feeling of unfairness made its weakness far more palatable for me, at least, enough for me to reach the end of the campaign and be satisfied. However, I totally understand why, if a particular bug bear was enough to put someone off buying another version of the same game, that simply having a bigger story wouldn't be enough to convince them. I do wonder if the upcoming Scooby Doo edition will address balance a little bit more? Seeing as it's targeted with a younger audience in mind, it's a fair bit tougher to pit one player against a bevy of odds when they might not be an adult you can simply say 'Deal with it' to. ...this is the part of the comment where I hope you had a similar gripe, or I've done an awful job answering your question!

I hope this is an omen of more reviews to come!
It's...Haunt 36: Many Happy Returns!
...it seems the RUclips algorithm is the traitor.
Vocal track is competition with the background music at some points, but this is really good stuff! Happy to subscribe, looking forward to more!

Great video, your attention to detail really shines through. Great analysis and awesome editing, always look forward to more content from you!
Superb video! Very great editing and production quality!

Very good video! I'm so surprised you don't have more views or subs!

Lovely stuff as ever!
I think this is the first time a game of Betrayal has ever had the word 'Lovely' associated with it, so thank you!
@@DiceyExploits Next up, 'What an agreeable coup!', 'What a polite stabbing!', 'What a wonderful brexit!'
