Hi there!!! I have been trying to make a purse handle for the last three days and have started and undone 4 or 5 different patterns. I wanted a round one instead of a flat one. I am excited to give this one a try. I am planning on attaching it to a D ring on a purse I have made....any suggestions on how I could do that?
Mikey!!! Thank you so much for this, this is my FAVORITE thing on how to make straps, I was getting super frustrated with making the rope straps! Love your stuff! I had to come to your channel specifically for a handbag strap :) I didn't like other straps because they were not strong enough and were too stretchy or just holey. Thank you for this one!
This handles are grate. I crochet a lot of things that need handles.i have never been able to make them Match. These are perfect thank you so much for taking the time to teach us how to do it
Thank you for this. I'm making my first bag a granny square sunflower tote. It will be used as a project bag. I wanted just a basic simple strap for it. This was perfect.
Thanks for the tutorial! As a beginner, I still don’t know how to deal with the extra long string attached to the strap. Is there anything I should do with it? Any suggestions?
Hi Mickey! Thrilled to find your strap tutorial. Really easy! But I have a problem.. The tote ends in the color yellow and my straps are green to match the bottom part of the tote. Should I crochet a few green rows after the yellow top then attach the straps on the new green rows? Any ideas from more advanced crocheters? Would appreciate since this is a gift for my mom's 65th anniversary.
My bag was made with 2 strands held together. Do I make these straps the same way or just use a single strand? I'm concerned that it will get ridiculously thick!
This is a great handle and tutorial. I don’t like the cord handles because I think they are too stiff. If you line the handbags you make, can you make a tutorial on lining a crochet handbag?
Hi, this tutorial is really helpful and easy to do, please can you tell me if it’s at all possible to do this handle but attach both ends to individual lobster clasps and how to go about doing that?
I love all the vids about handles but how do you attach them to a bag? I don't have internet at home at the moment so please send me a link when you make a vid.
Thanks a lot! Im only 11 but I love crochet! (I think granny squares are Cute)
I love granny squares too Honey! Its the first thing I learned to make.

I like how simple the video is and how easy it was to follow.... you made easy for me to know how or where to add the handles .. thanks
Love this technique! It sure beats fussing with a tiny tube. Gonna try it on my next market bag. Thanks!!
I like this handle, going to try it on my granny square bag. Other handles I've tried stretch too much.
