I've really been enjoying how BD has made different teams more fun to play. Also holy smokes Pete's dice turned ice cold. It's great to see both of you still enjoying the game regardless of dice rolls rather than complaining about luck. Keep it up 2Casual crew

I know you mentioned smoke at the end. Man it would have been game changing on the reivers. Keeping them safe until turn 2. Sergeant would have still taken the slicing attack but having 2 close combat monsters with fly that far forward would have been killer.
Love the new format of the batrep. Great game with two of my fav teams. Looking forward to the next one. Hearthkyn please? :)

You're welcome! And yeah I think we're on the boat that if the water blocked visibility instead of being obscuring, that would level the field a lot
Elite teams still in the dumpster in general, barely any room for mistakes or spiked rolls. And as a phobos player, it seems only success comes from sitting back and shooting and using conceal in the first/second turn and come out swinging for third. Cant wait for the big Elite team balance dataslate that makes them relevant in comp.

Why could the Duelist change its order on turn one? Can someone explain?
Pete took infiltrate for his scouting option, which allowed him to change one of his operatives' order upon activation.

You say Infiltrate but doesn't this happen before the first activation??
Nope, infiltrate happens when you activate a model. This makes it very strong to hide a model with conceal until you are ready to shoot

Nope They can't, but only 1 model swapped their order with the infiltration scouting option in round 1.

So you can use Slicing Attack whilst concealed with the Shade Runner? I’ve been flipping to Engaged to pull that move, have I been understanding this incorrectly? I had presumed that because it’s a movement with a single melee attack, I would have to be Engaged to use the melee attack? If I’ve been playing this wrong it makes the Shade Runner even more useful as I had been using her to finish off injured enemies but then getting her shot as was Engaged!
Yep you sure can!
It's Only the charge action requires the engage order.
Very nice on itd bc you can move without entering engagement range and then perform a hatchway fight
