I think everybody would agree that we want more of those " Unfiltered thoughts " 😊 That was my favorite part of the video. Thanks!!
Podcast perhaps? Perfect name for it.
I never leave comments, but the ending was so different in a good refreshing way, i have to say at least, if you read this Joe, definitely try to do more staff like that. (being it any media). Like podcast, that @idekacper mentioned 👍
late but agreed. hard but necessary pill to digest.
I love the unedited thoughts section! Your thought process is really insightful, great flow even when unedited!
actually so funny at the end fr
how can you make your life more exciting? Live off youtube without a real job, yeah!
@@Haunuva Creating content takes alot of work and is a real job.
@@TapiTalk It really is. Aside from a few channels, most RUclips content creation takes a large amount of time and effort, but also less time and effort that anyone procrastinating starting a channel thinks it takes.
@@bangojetty yep 100% this, with practice you can get production times down alot too, it's a very fun hobby!
For me,this is one of the best videos you’ve made. This is why travelling is priceless.
Any kind of change will make you feel different and create different thoughts:)
I want to go travelling but the thought is scary...ever seen hostel?? 😕 not to mention expensive
@@Gh0stGaminginc Don’t let movies dictate your fears
Yeah! Especially travelling solo or with a friend in hostels, you meet so many people and hear so many different perspectives that challenge your own thought loops!
I got "outside" starting this past October. I bought an electric unicycle, taught myself to ride it, and rode around my local towns and city. Not only did I learn how nice greenways are, learn to read the ground and people around me, and challenge myself; I also end up starting a lot of conversations and enjoying the scenery at whatever pace I want. Even the stressful 38 mile "I'm a bit lost and may not have the battery to get back" trip was a huge blessing and experience.
I need to explore again, my life has became the same thing daily, it's having a negative effect on my mental health and made it hard to come up with ideas for RUclips videos.
My job comes back in February, I was thinking of working that job 6 days a week, then before work I'll either go to gym, boxing classes or record RUclips videos, then spend my one off day fully working on RUclips.
The thought of this became overwhelming yesterday and I broke down. Instead I'll work my job 5 days so I'll have one off day to focus on RUclips and self improvement but another off day to relax and explore and have a good time, the Bible says we need a rest day but I haven't been following that and draining myself
Agree, we all need a break from time to time
Enjoy your rest day
Those unfiltered thoughts were a nice addition. As always, a closer to truth and helpful video. It feels nice to know there are people like you, motivated to change and developing confidence in their own opinions.
"Be a person in the world" is genuinely one of the powerful and resonant things you have said, it really sticks with me, thank you Joey.
If you are reading this, keep going cause you never know how close you are to your goals
Damn right! Thanks for the reminder.
Sometimes you know. If you're 300lbs and want to get to 150, you know exactly how far you are.
God bless you and your family
“We don’t think our way into new ways of living, we live our way into new ways of thinking.”
That line’s gold! The only bad thing I can say is that I wish this video went on for like another hour.
Man, I love this, the punch line cracked me up because it’s so obvious. I don’t have a car so I often walk routes I’ve seen before, but that has it’s own merits. I get to see day-by-day the seasons changing and businesses opening and closing; there’s different characters and scenes, but also regular pedestrians with whom I exchange pleasantries. In the Northeast U.S. it can get cold and dreary, but you just put on more clothes, and hold tight to that piece of your identity that is a daily walk and being a ‘backyard adventurer’ as Beau Miles says. Kudos to you for being on the internet telling people to get off the internet :)
Better than a therapist. This dude has helped me dig myself out of a hole more than any friend, family member, or me alone ever could have. Thank you man
Honestly, I have been watching this channel for about a year now. I would always watch it as part of my morning routine before going to work and man has it really helped me. It just a realistic perspective on how to solve your problems. You really have helped me find the right path to get on for getting out of the hole I dug for myself. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
LOVE this concept Joey. So simple yet it's EXACTLY what we need to hear... what I love about going outdoors is the unexpected conversations - I have lived in my city for 15+ years so I know damn near 1/4 of the people in the entire city. So there's like an 80% chance I'll bump into someone I know which is always fun. Plus, all the other benefits: sunlight, cardio, blah blah blah. It's simple! Living outside of four walls is the QUICKEST way to get healthy dopamine. I'll finish with a quote about this which I love: "if we were meant to stay in one place, we would have roots instead of feet."
screenship love ur content bro!
@@rajeshpatel1128 yeah me too haha
THANK YOU brother, you inspire me with your content to do simple positive changes like this.
You're a social butterfly, huh? Me too, son, me too...

This channel is like a breath of fresh air. I hope you never stop sharing your ideas with us, Joey.
When I see your videos feels like your words are exactly what I needed to hear. It´s been a while since I started to watch self help videos and it's important to put in practice what any youtuber or author has to say, because it's so simple to fall in a spiral of content with the illusion of making change, when the simplest actions in life is what leads to major changes, like a good sleep schedule, go to the gym, cooking for the week or simply just take a 10 minute walk, take the morning sunlight, etc. THANK YOU! 😄
I started to change the way I live by practicing acting first without thinking much about the consequences as Joey suggested. It really worked and kept yeilding positive effects.
This may be in the top 5 most important videos on the Tubes. You’re such a good communicator and your message is so vulnerable, important and true. Thank you for all your work on these.
"We don't think ourselves into new ways of living, we live ourselves into new ways of thinking.".....definitely a quote I will carry with me through life now. Thankyou!
Perfect timing! (just fell into a cave)
Unedited thoughts are golden!! Thank you
Sup Joey! A big thanks from Brazil for helping us to improve our lives! THX 🇧🇷
Beautiful footage of your trip!
Even when Joey himself is in a rut and unproductive he is able to shoot some awesome "self-pity" footage while lying in a sofa and having some takeaway food boxes or empty Doritos packs laying around. Think about that 😁
He's figured out how to leverage it

I always love listening Joey's insights about personal growth. It gives me a different perspective on life. Plus the cinematic videos he creates is just amazing. This person literally motivated me to start my own channel. Thank you as always Joey! 🙏❤
Loved this as always! Big things coming for us this year my friend! 🎉
Very well spoken. I needed that. Thanks.
Very true. Travel and getting outside and experiencing new things generally is so important. Thanks for the video Joey!
Thanks, love the scenery too
Love your videos! Going outside your bubble, even with one foot, is really worth it. Even going for a half hour walk every evening to lose stress build up during the day, is really helping me. Even, especially, when you're feeling low or alone.
Dude, you hit the nail on the head. I deleted Instagram 3 weeks ago just as an experiment because I was feeling stuck. I've gained new clarity, perspective and new ways of thinking. Never in a million years did I think that that would fix my stuck feeling. But it did. Your world really shrinks until your thinking the same thoughts from watching the same thinks daily without you even noticing it.
We all need to unplug. Ironic since we're on RUclips but clearly social media is a detriment to society.
I loved the unedited rant, keep ‘em coming
I completely agree!! I always feel a million times better and more alive and inspired when I get out of the house, even just going on a walk around the block. Thank you!!
I know the feeling of the world shrinking around me. Suffering from clinical anxiety, my fears blow up at the same time, making the fill out my entire existence. And as wornout as it may sound: getting outside helps me. I go on daily walks to fight this feeling. And it helps. Simply experiencing the world around me, reminds that there is so much more to life. And it sets my problems and fears into perspective, helping me realize how manageable my problems are.
I reallyyyyyyy needed this today thank you ❤🎉
Your channel is the best. A lot of reflexive phrases in every video. It helps me a lot
This video is truly awesome. Thank You!
Thanks man, great and fresh thoughts as always ❤️
I literally started my youtube channel so that I'd be motivated to complete the activities that I was too depressed to do. To cultivate the community I lacked in my life and go outside more.
I’ve had to overhaul how I approach work/habits by practising mediocre consistency. Now I try to put in consistent 50-60% effort into my habits that give me stability (ex. journaling/working out) - to make sure I do it I began recording it and posting it on my channel. I hope to find people to motivate me and I could motivate in return. It’s been really fulfilling so far.
I'm amazed at how much I needed this video right now - Got my first job working from home recently, been hit down hard with intrusive thoughts of purpose and mortality - a real downward spiral. Gonna try going out to a new trail right after work today - Honestly the biggest help, thanks dude!
Great video my man, hope you enjoyed your time in my beautiful home country!
Needed this🙏 it’s a constant battle
I love how you always speak of relatable, helpful stuff.
Thank you, Joey, for always being a reference to which I can always go back to gain clarity of thought.❤
Your words are really inspiring and thought provoking. Proud of you.
I love the end. I do this alllll the time. Just random out loud thoughts about life and considering different perspectives while I drive. Seems like I have more clarity, like in the shower. My mind just gets to relax for a while and figure things out naturally.
Thanks for another excellent video! 👏🏻
BEST CHANNEL ON THE WHOLE RUclips. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I ENJOY WATCHING YOUR EVERY CONTENT. PLEASE KEEP DOING IT!
Honestly this is really important, as even though (sadly) many people use the "go outside to the real world, touch some grass" thing as an insult, it really is beneficial. I'm the first person to say that yes we need inside days, yes the internet can be a nice place to connect with a community you don't have close to you where you live or learn about new things that again you don't have direct access to irl etc but there is soooo much cognitive bias that trap people in their own bubble for better but also for worse, yet very few people realise it or make the effort of going outside in all the meanings it can have because they don't want to encounter things they don't like or get disappointed that something doesn't work when actually it is how life is and how we find what we're looking for, even if it takes a bit of time, because a currated bubble that ends up putting people in a state of huge bias or denial is never good
Thanks you a lot for this film
Thank you dude, your videos are always so enlightening
Thank you for giving me the motivation to start changing, and I mean it in general, not just from this video. The type of content that you make has given me a different perspective on my daily life, and the things I consider important, and I really appreciate you for doing so.
Pure gold, Joey. Thanks so much.
Literally thinking about this for some days now but i guess i needed an in-depth perspective on it. Thanks so much for your help Joey, your uploads seem to be always right on time and i've learned some very valuable ways of thinking (Better Ideas? 😅) along the way.
I like the unedited part at the end. 😊
It reminds me of long rides with my best friend - solving the problems of humanity in two car seats.😄
Every theory you ever put out , I have known most of that , but I wasn't assured , but you give me that assurance and hope that my theories can work...
You are the best out there...keep up the good work...
That last part made me chuckle. Solid advice as always 👌
I loved this. Definitely saving it to come back to later
Love you Joey !! I've watched literally every video you've made. Keep up the great work !
Thanks for all your uploads better ideas!
Awesome video as always. And so glad you got to come to Northern Ireland. Its such a beautiful place, though the Giant's Causeway is somewhat windy!
This mindset of approaching life is why I love this channel !!
Your videos feel soo calm .
Thank you, you always hit the mark. Your videos are beautiful, you are very talented with your cinematography and your messages make us feel that we're not alone. Ram Dass "we're all walking each other home." You are walking with many people 🙏
I don't know the secret of your vidéos that Makes me enjoy watching them several times, but i Always rewatch them. Maybe it s your writing or your ideas. Great to Hear you after the ag ad this time, i Always feel the ad Comes too early. Thanks bro, inspiring again
Real talk, whenever I'm depressed I go on a hike. I'm still bummed about whatever it is I'm bummed about, but I feel better mentally and physically
Thanks Joey. I needed this :)
Really awesome vid one of my favorite yet. Thank you!
Getting stuck in your cave is best when you're hyper focused on one task or goal, I'm locked in my home until I actually achieve something, then going out feels amazing. This won't work for everyone, but it does for me
How about stuck in cave doing nothing but sleeping
@@smartwater598 add DMT to it and you're good to go
I can relate.
This is so true.
I remember feeling like this. Then I went to a trip in Morocco. In the middle of nowhere, hiking in valleys and mountains I kept getting new ideas, new thoughts, new sense of feeling and presence.
When I came back home the old thoughts started creeping in. But I kept reminding myself of the places and things I did and saw.
I feel like when we stay in the same place for too long things stay stagnant.
Today I’m breaking the runt and trying new things.
Don’t give up guys, keep improving!
Thanks for the video❤️
Finding yourself in community is so underrated. It took me years to find the right one, but hot damn when I did, my growth as a person was exponential. Keep searching to find the right people over time, who get you and also help you grow. If you feel good after and are seeing yourself grow, those are positive signs to follow imo
The 3 sisters mountains in Scotland 👌🏼 love that area - the spicy B-Roll did not disappoint! I enjoyed the unfiltered ramble at the end too, you should do that more often
As always Joey I appreciate the content. It’s exactly what I need to hear
Dude you just make awesome content. Everything about it is phenomenal and I appreciate your insight in helping all of us think different thoughts!
This video lit a fire under my ass and one I'll continually come back to because it actually adds value to my life. I was compelled enough to tell a friend about this and have already made plans to go outside some more and try new things. Thank you very much for this and I hope you liked your time in the UK
awesome video thank you i needed this ! :)
That was one of the best videos you created so far , thank you so much
I love this video, thank you for sharing!
Hope you enjoyed the UK! It was nice to see some familiar landscapes and locations :)
Hi Joey. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you so much for all of your efforts and thoughts. It'd be very helpful if you could make a video about living intentionally.I 'm stuck on this topic lately and i think it'll help others.🌱
This video couldn’t come out at a better time for me! Thank you so much, this is finally a video that gives me something to reflect on and inspiration 💪🏼
Great visuals and great life lessons. You're a phenomenal photographer.
Thank you so much 🧡
Thank you man , u exactly described everything .... , very Helpful , Thank you ...
I love how the information he gives is as easy to digest as it is pleasant to listen to.
Great video. Hope you enjoyed the UK, particularly Scotland, . My home country. Great to get out and explore the world. Hopefully I can have this experience in Canada one day. Your footage is lush btw! Keep up the great work. Hope you liked the pubs!!!
Thanks Joey! Your videos really improve my life.
Love the Northern Island clips.
Great advices for life. I feel genuinely stuck, more like I feel lost. This message made me try to take courage to apply things whats in my mind!
Thanks for sharing this❗👍🤙
You're so right about being stuck in a never ending loop unless we go and see new places and experience new things. Also being a part of a community and group of friends that take you out of the cave. Being in person with people is vastly more rewarding than through a screen. We've all been in figurative solitary confinement for a very long time. Thank you for this video it was very valuable.
LivYou from Romania here. I just love your content
Thanks for thought provoking content
I love this, appreciate you man.
I wish Joey had a podcast, even if he doesn't talk about self improvement, I feel like I would enjoy hearing him speak about any topic
You should start a pod cast. Your words are so real. I watch almost all your videos and I want more. I also need a note book to write your key thoughts.
That photography (is it videography?) was absolutely beautiful and entrancing. It fit with the theme of the video perfectly as well
Thanks for another great video. I check in once in a while to remind myself of progress made. Even in a forward momentum, I can catch myself being “inside” far too often.
Nice to see you in my home country if NI. Hope you had a blast, I love it back home. Need to get back more myself!
Damn...i've been almost entirely TRAPPED in My own Mind since december of Last year,
in my own thoughs and stuff...i really needed this. I wanna be a Filmmaker one day, i'm always imagining stories and writing plots etc.
But i feel like i have lost myself so much into the Fantasy and the storytelling...that i have forgot to *enjoy* things instead of *writing it down, taking pictures, record it* .
Thanks dude, still My favorite Channel on RUclips, and what you said at the end, so true...for my Big surprise, sometimes those friends i think don't like me that much, are simply giving me space, respecting my space...the barriers that I have created for myself. And the Only thing i have to do to connect with them *more deeply* is just as simple as breaking the barriers, show up to parties, making myself present. Im thankful for my friends, for respecting my space...maybe a lil too much, and just waiting for the day i decide to go watch a movie with them, giving me a big hug and making me part of the gang...i always was. I just wouldnt show up so i didnt knew i indeed *was and always have been part*
Holy crap i wrote a whole Essay, enough internet for today
One of the best videos I've listen to in a long time period. Well Done!
The Unfiltered Thoughts part definitely hits my heart
