i think only the F-36 76mm gun has good APHE. The L-10 and L-11 76mm guns are quite middling. The KT-28 76mm on the T-35 here is awful, with the 45mm having 3x the penetration.
@@jasperlim8319 76mm shell with 150g. the flat pen is bad, but look at the angle pen. in terms of angle pen, it is better than a lot of APFSDS shells. all soviet 76mm guns are good if you can aim for weak spots and can use the excellent angle pen they have.
I find it useful to have aphe on the 76 because there have been a lot of situations where it has completely saved me when the 45 in that direction is disabled or not turned. I still bring he but the thing is you have so many guns and the 76 aphe has so much explosive mass that usually you can take out open top vehicles anyway
I met a ww2 Vet who fought in the Italian army as a tank driver. What tank did he operate you may ask? The Fiat 2000, a WW1 prototype heavy tank. It was very cool to hear his story.
I have also never quite understood how were these multi-turreted tanks with 10 or 15 crew supposed to work IRL in a real combat situation. Were they supposed to have just one commander who would all by himself have to give orders to the gunners and loaders of all the different turrets via radio? Like for example: "gunner of the 76 mm turret, engage that infantry group at 9 o' clock with HE, while men of the 45 mm turred number 2 on the starboard side load AP and fire at that enemy tank at 15 o' clock!" or something like that? Or would rather all the turrets have their own sub-commanders who would just be given rough firing sectors by the "captain" / the superior commander of the entire tank but would independently choose their targets within that sector of responsibility? Either way, sounds like a very impractical solution that would almost certainly massively overload the commander with work in a hectic situation, probably the reason why all modern tanks have just 1 turret and 3-4 crew.
You are not the first to come up with that criticism. A lot of the articles and videos out there mention it. On the other hand: 1. Warships have the same problem, so the moniker "Landship" could also apply to organization 2. In theory trench warfare is more predictable. While there are more targets and enemy fire in the vicinity, you have a chance to observe things and plan before starting the battle...in theory.
My most fond (See angering) memory of the T-35 was once when my MG turret got hit with AP, struck the MG ammo and and I died from a "ammo detonation" From a fully healthy vehicle I might add.
My wirbelwind has died so many times from "ammo detonation" it's not even funny, and those rounds are barely largely than MG rounds. The mechanic needs a rework.

One manage to survive : a tank that has been used for training during the war. It's still in running condition and is exposed at Koubinka.
I loved this tank in a game called "heroes and generals". the servers of that game are shut down now. This tank is super fun to use and it had a lot of ammo variety in Heroes and generals... Great Video :D

It MUST be the CAS option, especially for Spook. You can bear a botched shot, but CAS revenge kills where they shortly after crash just to make sure YOU are dead, 'cause petty reasons, not contributing to anyone but themselves. T35 is a monster, my top kills with it is 48, in a single match. And everybody still underestimate it because old. But they forget, it's have a squad worth of weapons. 😆
Pz.IIs with the 20mm auto cannon and those deadly HVAP rounds are truly the most dangerous things for T-35 as shown in this vid. Good pen and maneuverability is the perfect counter to super-heavies.

If i remember in terms of strength a foot of wood is roughly equivalent to and inch of steel. So if a tree is thick enough it could trick the aphe round into thinking it just hit or penetrated the armor of a tank.

Main issue was they never gave a turret commander to the sub-turrets. And that's the root issue of you commanded not captained the tank.

You can bear a botched shot, but CAS revenge kills where they shortly after crash just to make sure YOU are dead, 'cause petty reasons, not contributing to anyone but themselves. Why is CAS so damn cheap to spawn, why is CAS overrepresented in a TANK BASED GAME MODE, WHY?!🤬 I am not even playing the damn game and I am furious. 🤣

i heard you hate british vehicles, vehicles that do no damage and vehicles that are basically CAS magnets, so i think you should play the ratel 90; a gigantic british light tank with no armor, that only gets 90mm HEAT with a 7 second aced reload and that somehow always gets strafed by planes before it's even allowed to leave spawn (day 43)
the funny part about this is that the vehicle is south african, not even british
T35 is a monster, my top kills with it is 48, in a single match. And everybody still underestimate it because old. But they forget, it's have a squad worth of weapons. 😆

Pz.IIs with the 20mm auto cannon and those deadly HVAP rounds are truly the most dangerous things for T-35 as shown in this vid. Good pen and maneuverability is the perfect counter to super-heavies.
the Heavy spgs based on this tank would be a fun addition, either a shed on treads with a long 152mm or a open top deck with a 203mm

If i remember in terms of strength a foot of wood is roughly equivalent to and inch of steel. So if a tree is thick enough it could trick the aphe round into thinking it just hit or penetrated the armor of a tank.
