Confession: I was once in a band where the lead singer really wanted to cover "Crazy Bitch" ~ Buckcherry for our next gig. Needless to say, the rest of us weren't having any of that shit. That band also didn't last long after that. Thank fucking god.
I was driving to work on a cold dark morning at 4:30am when I first heard "Picture" from Kid Lame, I mean rock. I could not help but think if I someone else was driving on the road at the same time I was, listening to the local radio station, like I was, and was suffering from depression, that they would probably drive off the side of the road to end their life and most likely take me with them.
Great list. Couldn't agree more on number 1 and number 10. Those songs have been played to death. I hate it when the radio plays the same songs from a band over and over and over again.
Moves Like Jagger was so annoying on its concept alone. He's like old as fuck. Is this a compliment?? All these vapid, repetitive pop stars trying to sound cultured because they've heard of The Rolling Stones.
My own personal addition: Under the bridge.....I don't ever want to hear, this fucking song again.....ringing right in my ears, when will it it ever end.
breeanna Dorough I don't think its fair to compare the first four albums to anything past black album. For there is only pre- and post- black album. I don't have a favorite Metallica song, but as far as yours goes I think you made a lovely choice. Do you have a favorite from black album or after?

I kind of have I bias with this song because my friends and I would sing it all the time and I just think of them when I hear it but I see where you're coming from. 1. Sorry but I freaking love this song. Same thing as number 2 with the bias.
BlackPikmin1998 I fucking hated that "Crazy Bitch" song even when I was 14. Fuck Buckcherry, they make Nickelback, Kid Rock, Creed, Marilyn Manson, Godsmack, Bullet For My Valentine, Shinedown, and Hinder sound tolerable.
Marilyn Manson, Godsmack, and Shinedown are actually really good in my opinion Hinder and Bullet for my Valentine are actual guilty pleasures of mine. Oh well. Opinions.
CKN - you mentioned about a couple of these songs getting saturated, I remember that happening when Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol came out. I actually confess that I dug this band and bought the cd prior to the song coming out. I liked the song at first and could tell it would be a single but it got played to death on the radio.
Enter Sandman is eh. Crazy Bitch was horrible. I disagree with Kiss-Rock n roll all night. A true music anthem for a generation. I figured that Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody would be close to #1. The rest of these songs I've never heard or didn't care for them.
I knew Enter Sandman would be the first mentioned, however it isn't bad, and it HAS aged just fine. It is simply overplayed. The same can be said for basically ALL classic rock. Good tunes, played to death. I BLAME RADIO
10. I can agree that Enter Sandman's been overplayed to death and can be a bit cheesy (and there are better Metallica songs out there), but I don't think it's necessarily a bad song. 9. It was fun to play on Guitar Hero 3, but yeah, extremely overrated. 8. Oh yeah, I listened to this as a little kid a lot, and it has not aged well at all (just like everything associated with Nickelback). 7. Not familiar with that one. 6. I liked it a lot as a little kid, but it hasn't really aged well either. In the end, it doesn't really matter (pun intended lol). 5. Fuck that song, I hated it when it came out and I still hate it today. 4. Don't remember hearing this one. 3. I wasn't as exposed to it as much you were (I was like 6 when it came out), but the song is stupid and dated too. 2. I remember getting a musical toothbrush that played this song while brushing. I hate it when music becomes so overtly-commercial like that. Another overrated, bland tune. 1. I knew you were gonna say that one. I remember hearing that one all the time a while back. I don't hear it much these days and I'm not really annoyed with the song, but I can understand your frustration with it.
ahh i don´t agree on number one. I live in Germany and the song is not a big deal over here. So i can still listen to it. I can understand where you are coming from though.

Everything you said about Green Day I feel the same about Smash Mouth. Terrible songs overplayed to death & you just want to wish whoever is playing that shit to get hit buy a bus. Ironically, it was the busdriver that overexposed me to Smash Mouth.
Ivo Wilson why would you be sory for me.. I think those are great songs too man, I said I listen to a lot of Metallica and even though Enter Sandman would barely make a top 30 Metallica songs for me, it doesnt mean I dont like it very much
It is not fair to describe a composition's quality by how it is used by third parties later on the radio, supermarket or social events. There are too many places where music is forced upon us and becomes background noise. I do not share the same feelings towards this music, because I don't go out much or listen to the radio due to its poor quality. I do love Sandstorm and Rick Astley, which have been misappropriated by milennials on social media.
That Guitar Guy I'm a huge metal head (obviously) but i think green day is badass. they always did shit their way, no matter what the studio, the scene, or even the fans thought. that's pretty fuckin cool.
I would add wind of change by scorpions to this list. this songs gives people the wrong impression about the band and can't be compared with their classic 80s songs, their epic 70s work(largely unknown to North America) and even to their post 2000s output. this song is just mediocre
Lightning Rider I was saying that in comparison to their 70s and 80s material, this really isn't very good. Be sure to listen to albums like fly to the rainbow, in trance, taken by force and virgin killer
My drunk dad likes wind of change or any Rock ballads 1980's and older I'm into Metal ballads like voice of the soul, cemetery gates and Fade to black Metal ballads are far more superior than rock ballads it's proven because Metal ballads are about war, depression, death, the apocalypse and sometimes love rock ballads are just the same thing over and over love and sex
Welcome to the under 300 views club. I like enter sandman, Rockstar, Through the fire & flames, In the end, Nookie, rock & roll all night, and time of your life. Although I do hate Moves like Jagger and Picture
"Oh My Good Gracious Gravy!" - CKN 2015. XD Also 11:58 made me spit my drink all over my desk. BTW I am apparently a liar and a dirty little piece of fuck, as I honestly NEVER liked Limp Bizkit (well...except for Rollin'). Never heard another song of theirs I wanted to listen to again.

I do love Sandstorm and Rick Astley, which have been misappropriated by milennials on social media.
So this whole argument of a bad song is based on how often they'r played ?
Song in the beginning?
Ben Marrero Iron Maiden's Stranger in a strange land... Up The Irons!!!
"Not the kind you wanna see the rubbbbababab kind." lol
rofl loved the 'time of your life' rant
Michael Kanis oh same here. I love CKN's rants man. Never seen someone so pissed over Green Day or any band really.
That Guitar Guy
I'm a huge metal head (obviously) but i think green day is badass. they always did shit their way, no matter what the studio, the scene, or even the fans thought. that's pretty fuckin cool.
NOOOOOOOOO NOT IN THE END!!!!!!!
100% for this video
Whats the intro song?
Lynch Smith "Stranger In A Strange Land" by Iron Maiden circa 1986!
Although I do hate Moves like Jagger and Picture
i actually like limp bizkit stuff but i agree with ur opion
You are a genius!
I haven't even heard a lot of those songs o-o
Is this the Muppet Show?
I Want You to Want Me by Cheap Trick
Drunken Divinity
that's a great fuckin song, I don't think it's that played out.
If Good Riddance is playing, you sing along or you get the fuck out of my car. Lol
CONTINUE THE RUSH DISCOGRAPHY REVEIW1!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I liked The Long Road by Nickelback.
Demon Rantz
