Luke's villain reveal is chilling. And, rereading the series as I've gotten older, it's handled so well. I can't say I blame him at all for being tempted by Kronos
@@K1ng1995very similar actually! Both the Republic and the Olympians were corrupt, selfish jerks who used their divine powers to treat people however they wanted. The Jedi and Camp Half-Blood meant well but ended up just perpetrating their respective system of tyranny.
I love this scene. I remember the time that when Luke revealed himself to be evil, I had chills when he threw that coke can. My second fav scene in Lightning Thief. My favorite is the Minotaur fight.
This is why the Percy Jackson series should've been adapted into a cartoon series, instead of a live action tv series, it just gives off the better vibe.
Very well done animatic. I liked how you managed to capture Percy's though process with minimal dialogue, hinging on Luke throwing the can into the creek as the big red flag the narration made it out to be in the text. If the new series can pull this scene off to the same extent as your rendition, I'd say that would be the perfect capper to season 1.
this is literally my most favorite scene in probably the entre series! I have the book and I've read this scene over 25 times. the characters look so amazing and the scene plays out exactly how I imagen it every single time! I was so exited when I first saw this! and I still am! Percy looks adorable and Luke looks awesome😲😁 and cool!
This scene- I loved this scene SO much. I remember when reading I thought I’d be mad at Luke for like- being the one to betray Percy but… I wasn’t. I was more so sad by his betrayal. 😭😭😭😭
Bro I started crying when he turned out to be evil he's my favorite and like in every book or movie the villain either loses their life's, goes to jail or something, or get redeemed. He probably will die 🥲
I keep rewatching this video, You did a great job! I'm looking forwards to more content! (mainly Percy Jackson but other things will probably be great too)
Honestly I never got to be a normal teenager either and not because I am a half blood or anything. I wish my life was as exciting as Luke's or Percy's.
@@amu7379 I personally think the show did Luke's betrayal wonderfully. Yes, they didn't exactly follow what was in the book but I think it worked better. It made Luke seem more human and not heartless, like he actually cared about what happens to Percy.
Even though I personally don’t like the PJO series. When that scene happened I’ve never felt such empathy for a character. Because, truly, Luke was not wrong in thinking the way he did. All those kids in camp high-key live a horrible existence and their parents don’t even have the decency to visit. Only if they like you enough or wanna use you SMH 😞🥲
Honestly I think that's why I loved it so much. My parents acted the same way as the gods through out my child hood. They just dumped me with my grandparents then would run off to do their own thing and only really wanted me around when I could give them something... The Percy Jackson series and the community with it really gave me a sence of family and like I wasn't alone.

Reminds of Anakin Skywalker
Adds more to the tragedy

Same but just wanted to sob he is still one of my favorite characters 😭
Luke's smile being so absolutely charming is brillant and chilling, love your style!
It looks like if Percy Jackson was adapted into a disney XD show. I love it!
It actually is being adapted into a Disney show just live action
I wish it was animated becouse I jist prefer animation and i feel it would work better but I'm excited for the live-action version.
@@aliamvickersfan2388 same with me
@@aliamvickersfan2388 I agree! It would be cool if they did both animation and live action

yes
I love your artstyle and I know it has only been out for a month but it's definitely not seen enough
Thank u 🥺
Luke throughout the entire series is like: “I refuse to accept a world rules by those things! I AM A VICTOR! I SHALL DECIDE HOW THE WORLD SHOULD BE!”
the only thing that could possibly make this better is Voice Acting. amazing work
exactly how I pictured it this is wonderful

This is amazing!! Loved the art style 😍
the art is fantastic! this needs way more likes and views!
Sir...
You got me!
Oh don’t mind me, I’m just STILL kicking myself by having this twist spoiled by watching the movie first.

I also story boarded some of it! It was cool but i gave up and never came back to it... it's nice to see someone else did it afterwards

Amazing animatic! I love the art style, it's perfect for the characters and the series!! Makes me wish we could've gotten an animated pjo series haha

69th sub. You deserve it, and I hope you reach 69,000 someday!
Woah, this is awesome!
Some voice acting would be great. And if you cant do that, maybe do some background music.
Great animatic, but my only issue is the pacing feels very slow. If you sped up the pace by at least 20%, I feel it'd flow better.
Tip: Put it at 1.5 or 1.75 speed. Heck, even 2 speed if you want it really fast. Hope this helped😀
@@SandwingDemigirl 1.5x was great, honestly. It felt like the right pace.
@@cjkalandek996 good! Personally I agree, although 1.75 I also found to be a pretty good pace.
People can still find this??😭
Yes we can:)
