i just finished rereading this book a week ago and god, this scene still crushes me. you really captured the emotions of this scene in the way that i can only hope the upcoming tv series does. actually got chills watching this- amazing job

It really shows how much Nico loved his sister knowing later that he had feelings for Percy. Even though his sister’s choices to leave Nico and sacrifice herself were her own, Nico would still rather Love his sister and put her on a pedestal and put all his hate and grief and vengeance on the person he considered a Hero, Friend, and childhood crush. It’s really tragic and sad.
STOP I LOVE THE IDEA OF THE GROUND BREAKING WHERE HE THREW THE HADES FIGURINE AND ALSO IVE ALWAYS HEADCANONNED THAT HE WAS YELLING AT THEM TO GO AWAY AND SCREMAING NO BECAUSE HE WAS OVERSTIMULATED BC OF HIS ADHD
This is incredible!!! You really captured the emotions of the scene and it felt very cinematic, and exactly how I imagined it in the book. Marvelous work on this.

It was… awkward to say the least.
