We don’t need longer banners, we need more rerun banners, 3 banners per phase. It’s stupid that we have to wait 2 years for a rerun and it’s very simple to fix.

Just set it up like a chronicled wish on the UI, but have it run like a normal character banner. No character should ever have to wait more than 3 months to have a rerun imo. i would love to have a tripple banner in genshin, we have so many characters and so many issues of no reruns like Shenhe or Wirothesley. It might be a bit much for us F2P but then again, the chance of said character to rerun again, is higher then now.

Regarding the banner system i think its better if we have a chronicled wish every 3 patches or they should add another banner so we will get 2 reruns and 1 new character banner every patch.
Chronicled wish was just a mass hysteria incident, I'm accepting we're never getting another one 😂. They most likely just made it to make the dryest patch have some "content"

i played genshin almost every day for 2 years after release….. then burnt out and didn’t play for the next 2 years. after reviewing all the new characters released in my absence, arlecchino & clorinde are two of the ones i want most! i’m so excited about their reruns!!!
This is what I was talking about in the earlier videos. Most of the leaks that these "reliable" sources give are just way too inconsistent. Like, bro, if this was a courtroom, these "reliable" sources would be the shady witness who "swears they saw everything" but keeps changing their story every 5 minutes. Meanwhile, the devs are probably sitting there sipping tea and watching us argue over which fake version of the next 5-star character we like better. Peak entertainment for them, chaos for us. Also, Wukong winning Player's Choice was pretty much expected. It had the hype, the fresh appeal, and the cultural connection to Chinese mythology that made it stand out. Genshin was never going to have that same edge this year, especially given it's been out for a while now. But honestly, I think this win is good for the community. It shifts the spotlight away from the Genshin fandom's more toxic side, which sometimes gets too defensive and dismissive of other games, especially in the gacha space. A win for Wukong feels like a nice reset and helps foster some balance.
this rumor was posted by anonymous chinese sources that nobody had seen on twitter before. just like this channel guy said before, theyre not reliable. HomDGCat has a streak of 9 or so banners predicted correctly, that’s the difference.

Because of this 42 banner we guys made decision like some of the us saving for a character with weapon or constulation from long period so we have good amount of prioms so we can take old good character by sacrificing like weapon or constulation by regain the particular amount of prioms we used ex ( i took nuvlet but cant take weapon with loosing 50/50 so this long period will help )

We need the banner to last 2 weeks instead of 3, the 3rd week is usually considered as dead/boring for most ppl, if you missed your 50/50 and couldnt do a come back in 2weeks, just accept your L n get ready for the extra banners coming.

HomDGCat did NOT say they were in the same phase, in fact they originally said that mavuika would be one and citlali would be 2. this info is a rumor/misunderstanding because there is a “1” next to mavuika and citlali on the wiki, which means the amount of banners they have had, which is obviously one. so basically, we don’t know. what HomDGCat originally said is probably true though, because that is what the beta testers are saying as well
im really hoping she’s not first phase of 5.4! im trying to c6 her and i’ll only have 360 wishes by then, and i need 5 more copies (~30-40% chance of getting her c6). i also want xianyun and they might be in the same patch 😢

I always thought that rumor was strange, if the new banner last for 42 days then that would mean the rerun would be in the next patch since we always update after a month and 10 ish days, unless they extended it which I don't think many will like ie longer wait.

I’m on the other side. I want shorter banners, maybe 2 weeks max. With more and more characters being added to the roster it would be a nightmare for those waiting on reruns
The gameawards was good this year! Kinda bummed that genshin or wuwa didnt win players voice though.. If wuwa would have won then maybe genshin wouldve started giving us more free rewards or maybe listen to the fans more
In my opinion, the best way to fix the rerun issue is to have the usual standard banner, limited banner but ALSO the chronicled wish for EVERY version. The chronicled wish should also refresh with different characters for every patch. To me, that’s just ideal and an easy fix👍
Brother in Christ, ZZZ literally confirmed Miyabi has 42 days of banner uptime. Why are you always taking HSR as example, instead of waiting for the 5.3 livestream? Sit down and wait 7 more days, jeez.
Just add a banner that has a timeline just completely separate from phases and versions. Have the featured character of this banner roughly change every 2 weeks. The characters that would show up are older characters (I would say 1.0 to 2.8 is good). Once "newer" characters hit a certain amount of time since they been released then make so they can show on that two week banner as well.
@AnCatalyst When we take a step back. It's also a way to save more pulls for the wanted characters. And it won't really changed anything since with the new system banner new characters would last 42 days (So more time to pull, more chance to hit pity.) But with the current system banner one character is 21 days then another one is 21 days so you still have to wait 42 days for the wanted characters. (I hope it's clear, I kind of struggle a bit with english.)

The only thing changing is that it's kinda feels like it's getting cuts because there are the phase 2 but it's like I have Mavuika phase 1 and Citlali phase two. Let's imagin I won't pull on neither (Either ?) of them then I'll have to wait until the end of both phases so 21 days + 21 days. But if they are here in the same phases but last for the all updates then I'll have to wait 42 days so it looks the same.... I guess. You are making me doubt. I think they should let us choose between one character in the banner every two patches or similar… but as Compensation we can’t choose someone that had a rerun the last 4 banners.
The rumor probably started because that's literally happening in 1 of Mihoyo's other games Zenless zone zero. In their 1.4 patch they will be running 2 s-rank agents alongside each other through the entire patch. Miyabi and Harumassa will both run through the entirety of patch 1.4 , but no reruns. They will be giving 1 free new S-rank Harumassa to players who participate in this patch, so you don't have to wish for him if you don't want to, unless you want his minds capes ( constellations). Now is the time to jump on Zenless zone zero if you are interested. They have loads of end game content and they are making Tv's gameplay completely optional for 1.4 content forward . A free new S-rank
@naykad9366 no...only 1.4 forward that I know of. The main thing is they heard the concerns of players, and they are continuing to make changes to create a better game experience for everyone. They're only on patch 1.4, and each patch they've implemented things players have wanted and voiced. That's major! It took Genshin Impact years to finally address the communities concerns. That means the development team has already outperformed Genshin Impact in leaps and bounds. I'm looking forward to the future of this game. Can't wait to see what they give us for it's 1 year anniversary.
Regarding the banners: It still isn't confirmed by the patch announcement, also it's about HSR not genshin, so there's a chance they will implement this in genshin. Also I'm not so sure about HSR as well, I've seen people discussing about it, and some said that it's possible for them to deny and then announce it later. We can't be sure it goes either way until the official patch announcement. (Yup, I still have hopes they will do it 😂)
Banner length isn't the problem. I think the main issue the community has is re-run frequency along with 4-stars. We need another banner for re-runs, and some system for 4-star pity like a epitomized path. With the number of characters increasing, I think these changes will have to happen, because while 2 banners worked for 20 event 5 stars, they just don't when there's 40 event 5 stars and that number keep increasing.
Hear me out. What if banners lasted 7 days (just about long enough for every 5* character to run once in a year), but we got information about the banners a month in advance? More chances to roll around to characters we want and plenty of time to save up. At least then we'd know we can get the character next year as well instead of being stuck without them for a 3rd year in a row.
Guys longer banner would benefict all on terms of savings but did you forget the rerun problem just imagine who long it would take with 40+ days of banner time...

Not fair? that's the point of gacha to put you in the tight spot. Ain't no way they'll wait and let you get some primo for free from your daily so that you can pull for some character. They'll lose some money by waiting, and that's not good for the company.

Depend of your box, but mostly a QoL char. Skipable Neuvilette arle mavuika ? You just need one of them if you want an OP dps. Pick one and skip the others Citlali depend of your account I guess but she doesnt seems to be a must have char

I hope the banner time system will never change especially with the return of arlecchino and clorinde in the second patch, it will make it difficult to wait a long time to get them Especially for people who didn't get them.
I believe a third or fourth phase banner should be more efficient rather than just triple banners since we get reruns more often, 5 star and 4 star alike.
Personally, I prefer the longer banners. I can pull for one and when I get it, the I can try with more time to pull for the second. I hope so. May the longer banners happen.
The problem is that they put the 2 most loved natlan characters at the same time, with Neuvolette before and Arlecchino after. I want some time to save primos before a nice unit. They put too many one after the other.
Mavuika and Citlali seem unlikely to be together in the same banner as Moyhoyo sure love to make us cave to FOMO when giving us the option of an OP old character vs a OP new character. As they have done for almost all the natlan characters so far. And even some of the Fontaine characters. Such as the current Nevillette/Zhongli, or Hu Tao and Chasca, and Mulani and Kazuha. Most peoples logic being why have a new unproven character when you could have a highly sought after character for past updates instead of going for the newer characters. But the same will happen for the opposite where some people will want both but know they can only chose one or the other. As some past leaks have suggested is that Mavuika and Arlecchino will share the same Phase as it makes sense as they are both pyro DPS's and then pair Ctlali with Chlorinde
Regarding the 42 days banner idea, I would've liked it, not only could you have more time to farm primogems, but also if two characters that you want come out in the same patch, but your priority is in the secind phase, you have to obligatory skip the first one to not risk lossing the other character, for example let's say I want arlechino the most, but I want citlali too, if new banners lasted 42 days, I could wait for arlechino, pull for her and then with all I have left pull for citlali, like that I wouldn't risk lossing arlechino but I could have a chance to get citlali. Right now I really want ganyu from the cronical, but I want citlali too, I will wait for mavuika's rerun so I'm skipping her this time, I'll have to pull for citlali since she wont stay for long, and then risk not getting ganyu who god knows when she'll be back. And I'm also having to skip arlechino who I wanted since debut but couldn't get

If they wont make the banners last as long as the update, they should increase the banners, isntead of 2 per phase, it could be 3. Because at the moment there are 49 5star characters in the game. With 7 standard characters includeed in that 49, so many characters to rerun in a year would make sense to make it 3 banners instead as per the usual 2. There are characters that have not been rerun for more than a year already.
Dude... I'm only a new player that got to AR44 in a few weeks because I go hard but I can quickly observe that you have to WAIT YEARS to feasibly unlock most of the characters in the game. Most people are going to or have already lost interest in this game with having to wait for all the right banners to show up. How likely is a dedicated player likely to play when two or three sets of banners offer characters they're not looking for or already have? The way the banners are set up is cracked. You should at least be given a choice to pull any character you want, like once every 6 months or something.
I would prefer if banners were changing FASTER, so that we can get reruns FASTER. Yes i will propably not get both Mavuika and Citlali on the same time period, but hopefully i get the other one on the rerun, wich is why i would like reruns to appear faster. This is obviously with freemogems from events in mind. If i can get enough primos to pull for another 5 star - that is when i'd wish we had the rerun of Citlali.
It makes no sense to have both run in the same phase. The leaked image just has a number next to each character that will show up represents how many times they have run. It’s Citlali and mavuikas first so they have a one, clorinde and arle are getting their first re run so it’s 2. Bennett has a 13, which pretty much confirms this. Idk why none of these channels point that out
Considering that almost all the YT leak channels just parroted that this info was from "credible sources" but named none, this is utterly unsurprising.
This rumor never made a whole lot of sense, banners always get a lot of rolls at the start and it drops off quickly after a few days; extending them 3 more weeks might actually lose them money if it distracted people from the second phase. If they ever get around to changing anything it'll have to involve more reruns, there's so many old characters that people would roll for if they'd ever make them available.

We need the contrary: shorter banners. Maybe even a week long. And new characters for the usual 20 or more days. Double banners and a week long.

This is what I was talking about in the earlier videos. Most of the leaks that these "reliable" sources give are just way too inconsistent. Like, bro, if this was a courtroom, these "reliable" sources would be the shady witness who "swears they saw everything" but keeps changing their story every 5 minutes. Meanwhile, the devs are probably sitting there sipping tea and watching us argue over which fake version of the next 5-star character we like better. Peak entertainment for them, chaos for us.
Also, Wukong winning Player's Choice was pretty much expected. It had the hype, the fresh appeal, and the cultural connection to Chinese mythology that made it stand out. Genshin was never going to have that same edge this year, especially given it's been out for a while now. But honestly, I think this win is good for the community. It shifts the spotlight away from the Genshin fandom's more toxic side, which sometimes gets too defensive and dismissive of other games, especially in the gacha space. A win for Wukong feels like a nice reset and helps foster some balance.

Because of this 42 banner we guys made decision like some of the us saving for a character with weapon or constulation from long period so we have good amount of prioms so we can take old good character by sacrificing like weapon or constulation by regain the particular amount of prioms we used ex ( i took nuvlet but cant take weapon with loosing 50/50 so this long period will help )

HomDGCat did NOT say they were in the same phase, in fact they originally said that mavuika would be one and citlali would be 2. this info is a rumor/misunderstanding because there is a “1” next to mavuika and citlali on the wiki, which means the amount of banners they have had, which is obviously one. so basically, we don’t know. what HomDGCat originally said is probably true though, because that is what the beta testers are saying as well

I always thought that rumor was strange, if the new banner last for 42 days then that would mean the rerun would be in the next patch since we always update after a month and 10 ish days, unless they extended it which I don't think many will like ie longer wait.

Longer Banners would save me honestly, I always get almost near getting the Characters but am unable to sometime cuz of 10 or 12 pulls.

In my opinion, the best way to fix the rerun issue is to have the usual standard banner, limited banner but ALSO the chronicled wish for EVERY version. The chronicled wish should also refresh with different characters for every patch. To me, that’s just ideal and an easy fix👍

I've been saving primogems since I started since the only 5 star that interests me is Furina so I'm saving for her.
Just add a banner that has a timeline just completely separate from phases and versions. Have the featured character of this banner roughly change every 2 weeks. The characters that would show up are older characters (I would say 1.0 to 2.8 is good). Once "newer" characters hit a certain amount of time since they been released then make so they can show on that two week banner as well.

@AnCatalyst When we take a step back. It's also a way to save more pulls for the wanted characters. And it won't really changed anything since with the new system banner new characters would last 42 days (So more time to pull, more chance to hit pity.)
But with the current system banner one character is 21 days then another one is 21 days so you still have to wait 42 days for the wanted characters.

I think they should let us choose between one character in the banner every two patches or similar… but as Compensation we can’t choose someone that had a rerun the last 4 banners.
The rumor probably started because that's literally happening in 1 of Mihoyo's other games Zenless zone zero.
In their 1.4 patch they will be running 2 s-rank agents alongside each other through the entire patch.
Miyabi and Harumassa will both run through the entirety of patch 1.4 , but no reruns.
They will be giving 1 free new S-rank Harumassa to players who participate in this patch, so you don't have to wish for him if you don't want to, unless you want his minds capes ( constellations).
Now is the time to jump on Zenless zone zero if you are interested.
They have loads of end game content and they are making Tv's gameplay completely optional for 1.4 content forward .

Regarding the banners: It still isn't confirmed by the patch announcement, also it's about HSR not genshin, so there's a chance they will implement this in genshin. Also I'm not so sure about HSR as well, I've seen people discussing about it, and some said that it's possible for them to deny and then announce it later. We can't be sure it goes either way until the official patch announcement. (Yup, I still have hopes they will do it 😂)
Banner length isn't the problem. I think the main issue the community has is re-run frequency along with 4-stars. We need another banner for re-runs, and some system for 4-star pity like a epitomized path. With the number of characters increasing, I think these changes will have to happen, because while 2 banners worked for 20 event 5 stars, they just don't when there's 40 event 5 stars and that number keep increasing.
Finally it's confirmed that arlecchino will be getting a rerun.

Hear me out. What if banners lasted 7 days (just about long enough for every 5* character to run once in a year), but we got information about the banners a month in advance? More chances to roll around to characters we want and plenty of time to save up. At least then we'd know we can get the character next year as well instead of being stuck without them for a 3rd year in a row.
Guys longer banner would benefict all on terms of savings but did you forget the rerun problem just imagine who long it would take with 40+ days of banner time...

I believe a third or fourth phase banner should be more efficient rather than just triple banners since we get reruns more often, 5 star and 4 star alike.
Personally, I prefer the longer banners. I can pull for one and when I get it, the I can try with more time to pull for the second.

The problem is that they put the 2 most loved natlan characters at the same time, with Neuvolette before and Arlecchino after. I want some time to save primos before a nice unit. They put too many one after the other.
Mavuika and Citlali seem unlikely to be together in the same banner as Moyhoyo sure love to make us cave to FOMO when giving us the option of an OP old character vs a OP new character.
As they have done for almost all the natlan characters so far.
And even some of the Fontaine characters.
Such as the current Nevillette/Zhongli, or Hu Tao and Chasca, and Mulani and Kazuha.
Most peoples logic being why have a new unproven character when you could have a highly sought after character for past updates instead of going for the newer characters.
But the same will happen for the opposite where some people will want both but know they can only chose one or the other.
As some past leaks have suggested is that Mavuika and Arlecchino will share the same Phase as it makes sense as they are both pyro DPS's and then pair Ctlali with Chlorinde
Regarding the 42 days banner idea, I would've liked it, not only could you have more time to farm primogems, but also if two characters that you want come out in the same patch, but your priority is in the secind phase, you have to obligatory skip the first one to not risk lossing the other character, for example let's say I want arlechino the most, but I want citlali too, if new banners lasted 42 days, I could wait for arlechino, pull for her and then with all I have left pull for citlali, like that I wouldn't risk lossing arlechino but I could have a chance to get citlali. Right now I really want ganyu from the cronical, but I want citlali too, I will wait for mavuika's rerun so I'm skipping her this time, I'll have to pull for citlali since she wont stay for long, and then risk not getting ganyu who god knows when she'll be back. And I'm also having to skip arlechino who I wanted since debut but couldn't get

More banners per patch > Longer banners
If they wont make the banners last as long as the update, they should increase the banners, isntead of 2 per phase, it could be 3. Because at the moment there are 49 5star characters in the game. With 7 standard characters includeed in that 49, so many characters to rerun in a year would make sense to make it 3 banners instead as per the usual 2. There are characters that have not been rerun for more than a year already.
I always thought that banner leak was fake because Hoyo does not do drastic changes like that so suddenly.

Dude... I'm only a new player that got to AR44 in a few weeks because I go hard but I can quickly observe that you have to WAIT YEARS to feasibly unlock most of the characters in the game. Most people are going to or have already lost interest in this game with having to wait for all the right banners to show up.
How likely is a dedicated player likely to play when two or three sets of banners offer characters they're not looking for or already have?
The way the banners are set up is cracked. You should at least be given a choice to pull any character you want, like once every 6 months or something.
I would prefer if banners were changing FASTER, so that we can get reruns FASTER. Yes i will propably not get both Mavuika and Citlali on the same time period, but hopefully i get the other one on the rerun, wich is why i would like reruns to appear faster. This is obviously with freemogems from events in mind. If i can get enough primos to pull for another 5 star - that is when i'd wish we had the rerun of Citlali.
It makes no sense to have both run in the same phase. The leaked image just has a number next to each character that will show up represents how many times they have run. It’s Citlali and mavuikas first so they have a one, clorinde and arle are getting their first re run so it’s 2. Bennett has a 13, which pretty much confirms this. Idk why none of these channels point that out

This rumor never made a whole lot of sense, banners always get a lot of rolls at the start and it drops off quickly after a few days; extending them 3 more weeks might actually lose them money if it distracted people from the second phase. If they ever get around to changing anything it'll have to involve more reruns, there's so many old characters that people would roll for if they'd ever make them available.
Lets be real, Mavuika will be a rerun a couple banners later while Citlali will probably take a year or two to come back.
