  • Our new sawmill, the Woodland Mills HM130 Max, is getting used to start accumulating some dimensional lumber for farm projects like storage buildings.

    Timber!! That Virgina Pine looked really nice. Looks like you guys are figuring out the new mill. Great job!! FYI The Christmas Trees look good!!

    Hello Phil, nice milling, we have milled a few pine here on our cheap Harbor Freight sawmill, its the blind leading the blind when milling here😂🚜🪵👍🏼🇺🇸

    Sawing with Sandy mentioned if you cut too fast you could get some wavy cuts

      Yeah, That's definitely a possibility. I've watched a bit of SwS here lately. Learning a lot.

    I see some people using a bigger blade. 1 1/2 inch x .055 inch x length of blade. They swear by them on the 126/130. Only modification is to adjust the blade guides open. “ The Outdoors Guy “ has a video you might want to check out. Nice video. Subscribed

      sawing is fun but with so much other farm work to do I'm afraid I won't have enough time to really use it a lot

    Did you figure out the wavey cut issue?

      made belt tracking adjustment, and blade tension adjustment. Haven't had wavy cuts since. The manual has a list of at least 6 reasons for wavy cuts. Just have to go through each of things to make sure everything is within spec.

      Most comon reason for wavy cut is. Blade dull or poor tooth set
